"We traveled from Philadelphia to Bland for a family funeral and this house was the perfect home away from home. It is very comfortable and well stocked with all we needed. The setting was peaceful and beautiful. The kitchen window provided a lovely view of the sunrise over the mountains. The location was amazing. Very close to the AT and other great hiking and biking. "We traveled 4 hours to stay at this rental only to find out that the place was vacant and locked up tight. There has been no renovation and the host was unresponsive. There wasn't any furniture, no stove, no refridgerator, and there was trash around the place. We had no phone service and no place to stay. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, IT IS A SCAM!!!"
