We stayed four nights at this property which was a good size for our family. A lot of love went into the making of this house, the craftsmanship is apparent and seems to be built by someone who has lived on a boat. Wood everything, a stunning deck and view of the surrounding islands, amazing sunsets, comfortable beds and good water pressure in the shower. Great to have a clothes washer and drier but more drier hours are 11-3 on sunny days only (when you will probably be out on an excursion). You pay for the view with about 40 steps up to the deck, people were available at check in to help us carry our stuff up. The little beach was great for launching our paddle boards but not somewhere to hang out all day, you will want to take a boat ride to red frog or Wizzard beach or somewhere else. Outdoor shower and sink (where the red frogs live!) was particularly nice for coming back from the beach. The cons: no air conditioning, only fans, and I almost stepped on a large scorpion! Also we never quite figured out off grid living. Clearer instructions were needed on how to maintain power and other procedures in the home for us who are unfamiliar, but maybe I missed something. There are also cameras on the deck and inside living area, which may just be security for when renters are not present but was a little unnerving. Also security lights stay on all night on the deck, both a pro and a con.
