Timely/sufficient communication was lacking, before/during stay. I'm limited to 1500 characters, I'll bullet point.
*You can't go "#2" in RV, not revealed until day before stay.
*Electricity went out multiple times for normal things, like plugging in fryer/putting away groceries in fridge. We'd have to turn everything off (lights/AC) to do normal stuff.
The longest outage was 2 hours bc I used the microwave. No instructions in the RV = confusion & sweating while waiting for owner to call back.
*Tub filled w/ 3 inches of sewer water on 2nd (our last) night. Hubs got it to drain due to background knowledge on RVs. If hubs didn't know that, we would've had to leave at midnight and drive home 2 hours. I cleaned it after it drained so we could take showers.
*Son's bunk collapsed in the middle of night on the last night. He's 175 lbs, weight limit on sign is 275.
*Sargent Beach is dirty, don't expect Surfside/Crystal. Not owner's fault but note this depending on your goals.
*Yes, mosquitos are awful, no matter how well you come prepared. Beach is better than ICW side. Not owner's fault. It's called nature.
To sum: Spotty communication beforehand, first night communication was good, second day communication went to crap & we contacted vrbo. Instruction manual in RV is desperately needed as is routine maintenance on RV. Breaker/plug to RV is fried (we have pics), the backup of "sewer" water is a health risk, the indicator light in the RV read that it was full.
