"Great position in Newbury, very close to the main shopping street. Parking nearby was cheaper than onsite so we used that. Entry was easy with good instructions. It was very warm inside, we had to open the windows and turn off the heating. Nice and quiet in the building, we hardly saw or heard anyone else. Everything you needed for a short break was supplied. "We had a great time at the lodge, it was spacious, well presented and in a nice wuiet location. All amenities were as listed and we didn't find anything wanting. "12 of us stayed at this beautiful house for 3 nights to see in the new year together, we had the most wonderful time. The house was perfect for all ages, there was something for everyone. We particularly liked that we could sit together in the living area and eat meals together as there was a dining table big enough for all of us. The games room and pool were perfect additions. Everyone enjoyed themselves which is a hard task when catering for all ages. We will be back, thank you"

"We had a ladies friends weekend away in early Nov. Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Log burner was fab and ability to have extra check out time for a small fee was worth it. Having the added bonus of the spa pass made the weekend extra special. The owners are particularly excellent and quick to respond with any of our questions. All good - highly recommended. "The place was located in a beautiful quiet country area. The welcome and accommodation was beautiful. Tre did advise that the fridge freezer was a little noisy and suggested it be turned off at night which we did however the water recycling system was a little noisy too but other than that, an excellent stay. "The cottage was gorgeous. It was small, personal and comfy. Everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We explored Lechlade, went to several pubs and ate out, as well as cooked in the cottage.
