"We had a great week on Beal’s! Check-in was easy, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the house was light, airy, clean, and perfectly set up for our family. Phil was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Beautiful sunrises, nice spot to sit by the water, great walks/hikes nearby, great seafood, friendly community, and far from the tourism and crowds further down the coast—we booked for next year before we even left! "This was a great place to stay in a cute fishing village. The home was cozy (although a little too warm upstairs the first night) and the whole family enjoyed it. It was farther away from the Acadia island than we expected, but we enjoyed the Schoonic region which was close by."

"We loved our stay in this beautiful, secluded oceanfront cottage! The home had everything we needed and the view was absolutely amazing! Stewart's Grocery & Takeout had great takeout pizza and groceries. We enjoyed lovely maple cortados at the Milkhouse Cafe south of Machias, and fantastic lobster bisque at the Public House. Eastport, Lubec, and Pembroke are all an easy drive away. We also enjoyed Lunch on the Wharf in Corea. An unforgetable stay in an unforgettable location."
