Scott's property is on Beal's Island & has a lovely view of the water, but note that this is a fairly remote location for those not familiar with the northern coast of Maine. The house has had some remodeling done and has nice amenities (new windows, full kitchen, plenty of hand & laundry soap & paper products) but there are no window coverings and the laundry is in the basement which has not been finished and had some standing water.
There is also, peculiarly, a truck topper dump of some sort just across the road from the front of the house. Depends on the person whether one believes it or adds to the charm and eccentricity of the locale, or not. We really didn't mind.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay. It was clean, quiet, met most of our needs and the townspeople were amazing (we stayed the week that was the run-up to July 4th.)
Other than being a little lagging at getting us the check-in info, Scott was adequately responsive.
Thanks for reading.
P.S. take time to stop by Wild Blueberry Land. What a cool & unexpected treasure in the area!
