After years of renting vacation homes, this is my first negative review. No internet access upon arrival was a problem, as this was a working trip. While trying to reach Labi for hours, I contacted the provider. They said there had been no surge, and my rental was the only house in the area that was offline. Labi promised if it was not back on in two days I would receive a full refund for the remainder of my trip. It was NOT fixed at that time, And he completely backed out of that promise and refused the refund, and offered no resolution. No refund, no credit, not even an apology. The internet was finally partially restored after 5 days, but was off more than it was on for the rest of my trip. Labi suggested that I pack up and move to one of his other rental houses that were open. I went to check them out, and they were completely unacceptable. By this time a tropical storm was approaching so I just had to wait it out. Other problems were a trash can outside standing in stagnate water, broken chairs on the front porch, closet doors broken off the hinges and extremely high grass. After complaining about these issues, Labi did send a crew to cut the yard and remove the broken chairs. No replacement chairs were provided. No extra garbage bags, no laundry detergent, no coffee and one extra roll of toilet tissue for a nine-night stay.
I have stayed in dozens of short term rentals in this area over the years and this is a first for me.
