Sweet little house tucked away.
We absolutely loved the layout and where this house was . Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to go and get groceries and plenty of shopping! We had everything we needed here . Loved the snacks and coffee table ! Perfect in every way! It was a nice experience! Thank you!

Convenient. Close to downtown.
Overall great location to stay. My daughter graduated from boot camp. The home was near the base and downtown Beaufort. There was a cute small dog that would visit.

Disappointed
The house itself was not bad. The location was good. There is a neighbor that let's her dogs run loose all day so you will be barked at every time you leave or return to the house. No one cleans up behind them so watch were you walk. The first night there I found two cockroaches in the room I was going to sleep in. In another room one of the guest opens their eyes from sleeping and there was a roach hanging out on their pillow. Water bugs ( look like huge roaches) were bad too. Even after going through all of our stuff to be sure it was roach free as to not carry them home my wife finds one in her car as she was driving back home. I have never rented a home that has had these issues. Owners expect a certain level of clean when you leave, so they should be sure they are renting a place with the same standard. Honestly anything good about this property was ruined night 1 for all of us.

Wonderful property in small neighborhood close to downtown Beaufort and any anywhere else you want to go. The home was very nicely appointed. We love to hear the roar of the engines of the fighter planes taking off and landing nearby

PROS: Family of 4 adults stayed 3 nights to attend wedding. Cute house on a very quiet street, convenient location close to MCAS, restaurants, Dollar General, and downtown. Located on corner lot, had comfortable beds and house had everything we needed. Overall house was clean, but looked like screened-in porch had not been swept in quite some time. CONS: No street lights so area is VERY dark at night. Only 1 outdated bathroom with sink without much counter space to put things. Toilet loosely attached to floor so be careful sitting down! Smashed several roaches (large & small) in the living room and kitchen areas, (did not see any in bedrooms or bathroom). Didn't like not having blinds in every room for privacy. Not sure if driveway belonged to us or next door neighbor because neighbor's car was always parked in it so we had no place to park.

Overall, great weekend stay
The house was clean and pictures were accurate. The only downfall was that there was only 1 bathroom and it was not in the best condition. With 4 adults and 2 teens, it made showering and toileting a pain.

Charming & Relaxing!
Upon arrival I was instantly impressed with the coral front door! We were greeted by large old trees draped in Spanish moss and a breathtaking marsh view across the quiet street. The homes interior was calming, comfortable and clean. We slept peacefully and enjoyed our morning coffee in the cozy living room. Evenings were spent relaxing on the screened in porch. We would definitely want to stay again. A true charming Beaufort cottage!

The inside of the house was clean. Patio and back yard area were not swept or cleaned. We had rented for two weekends. The first weekend the trash from the previous guests was never picked up and it smelled and attracted critters. Dishwasher was broken and even though the contact person said someone would be out to fix, that did not happen. There were no basic supplies to wash dishes or clean up any spills. Not even strainers in the sink. Refrigerator door handle was broken. The toilet in the bathroom was loose from the floor and only 1 person took a shower because the tub did not drain. These items were all discussed with the contact person and we were advised this would all be taken care of for the following weekend. Upon arrival the following weekend we found standing water in the tub and still no basic cleaning supplies. This rental is more suited to a weekend party rental than a family vacation home.

We came to pick up our son from Marine bootcamp. The location was excellent. Close and easy drive to base and shopping. The house was big enough to accommodate 6 people with plenty of room to visit. Had everything we needed. Really cute house. Overall, great experience!

Our little peaceful hideawy!
We had a beautiful and peaceful time in this home. The open screened in porch was awesome to have and sit around and relax with family. Everything we needed was there, convenient Dollar General store 2 blocks away for any last minute needed items. Super easy check in and check out and great communication with the owner. We will definitely book again on our next visit to South Carolina.

Cute house but very DIRTY
This is a cute, small house. However, the condition of the place was not acceptable. These are some of the issues I found: floors were super dirty, from dust bunnies to dead bugs all over the house. Under the furniture it was even worse. There was dust everywhere. Kitchen counters were dirty as well as the microwave. Windows can be a lot cleaner. Living room furniture has stains as well as one of the bedspreads on one of the beds. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, from the floors to the walls, toilet was FILTHY! bathtub was dirty and had hair on it also there was a very dirty rug. Just unacceptable. I did reach to the contact person who was very polite and sent her pictures of some of the issues. She offered to send a cleaning crew the next day. Unfortunately that was a big inconvenient for my family so we had to declined. They were nice to allowed us a late check out. I ended cleaning the place myself the first night we spend there. Properties should be guest ready. No excuses.

Nice and comfortable
My family stayed here for Thanksgiving. 4 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs. The living room area was nice and spacious, plenty of room for us to relax and the dogs could be on their beds without being crowded. Kitchen was well equipped. A bit smaller than appeared in photos but cooking Thanksgiving dinner was not a problem. Bathroom is quite small but bedrooms had large mirrors and are spacious enough to put on makeup etc and free up for someone else. Linens were nice and beds comfortable. Extra blankets and larger towels would have been nice. The 3rd bedroom with 2 singles didn't have top sheets and the quilts on the beds are very nice but not very warm. We didn't realize until my son was going to bed about the missing sheets but we made due. The porch is really big and we ended up eating our Thanksgiving dinner out there because the dining area is very small and having the table in the center blocks the door to the porch and backyard. The yard is big and fenced but could use some TLC. We found alot of broken glass, screws, metal pieces etc. I did contact property manager and she was not aware and asked if it was safe. We cleaned up as much as we could find before letting the dogs back out but I suggest a good thorough cleaning especially when letting dogs at the property. The area is close to the main Rd and has Dollar Tree you can walk to for forgotten items which was great. There is also a great dog friendly seafood restaurant, Gillian's, that is in walking distance and has beautiful marsh views. The trail is accessible off of that rd as well and was great for walking the dogs. Wifi worked well and smart t.v. was a plus, we did have some difficulty figuring out the t.v. at first. There wasn't any written direction for guests. A previous guest wrote about the neighbor with the dog's being aggressive and that was a nuisance. They come right on to the property and bark, go to the bathroom, even chase and jump on you if you are outside, walking etc. The neighbor had to come over repeatedly to get them (I believe there were 6) and made comment that she was going to get an electric fence. Luckily our dogs are very social and trained well and didn't get too bothered by it. All in all it was a lovely place and the dog issue obviously is not by any means the owners fault. We enjoyed our stay in Beaufort!

A Very Nice, Quaint House
The house met our needs and was comfortable. We were happy to be able to cook and have enough space for us and our dogs, who loved the big backyard, while we were in Beaufort for our son’s graduation from MCBC. The neighbor’s five chihuahuas were a bit aggressive and our puppy wasn’t thrilled with them! But overall it was a lovely stay.
