We recently stayed at this condo and overall had a decent experience. The location was perfect for walking to the beach, which was beautiful and not overcrowded. The price was reasonable for what you got, a quaint place that was nothing fancy. However, there were definitely some issues that could use some attention.
The condo could use some updating, as there were parts of the floor that sunk when you stepped on them, cabinets didn’t close properly, carpet is very worn, some of the kitchen utensils were worn and peeling, and the microwave appeared either rusty or dirty. The lack of a Keurig coffee maker was surprising in this day and age. Additionally, the light above the sink was not working.
On a positive note, there was a nice selection of pans for cooking and we were able to prepare some delicious meals with fresh seafood from Gay Fish Company. However, fruit flies were very prevalent in the condo, which was off-putting.
Fishing was not ideal in this location, as we had to chase the tide all day.
One major downside was the noise from guests staying above us. It was very loud and almost sounded like there was no insulation between the floors. It was difficult to relax with the constant noise starting as early as 7 am and past 10 pm.
Overall, I would rate our stay a 6.5 out of 10. With some updates and attention to detail, this condo could be a great place to stay.
