This is a stunning little property with incredible views across the valley. It was indeed peaceful. We enjoyed a stunning sunset, beautiful fine weather, but also morning mist. The wallabies came pretty close. Beds were comfortable. Host was easily accessible via text and quickly solved a minor issue. Would definitely love to stay here again. Two things I'd comment on: 1. I only realised from reading other reviews that there would be no milk at all provided. All short term rentals I've stayed in before provide at least some. The good news is I read it in a review so picked some up with my shopping for the weekend. 2. All the listings for the property suggest that it is only this little cabin on site. There were actual two other buildings a stone's throw away, and one was occupied during our stay. The location was still beautifully private - we couldn't hear them, and from the dining/living area or verandah, we couldn't see them, however it wasn't quite as secluded as we had expected.

Perfect in every way
The moment we walked in, we totally relaxed. The house was just beautiful and the outlook from the verandah over the bush was just divine. It is just perfect for relaxing, slowing down and taking in the beauty of our world. We stayed here as we were booked on the Zigzag railway, just a 10 min drive away. Everything was thought of in the home. The kitchen was perfect with some extra pantry staples. The bed was so so comfortable. Sitting on the deck to eat & just to read was perfect, with birds, cicadas & even a kangaroo passing by. TVs, internet was available but we used our own & in-phone range. The photos were accurate too.

Lovely getaway
Clean, well kept property surrounded by beautiful, quiet, idealic scenery. Thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and ambiance of the wood burner. Close to major attractions like Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens and Scenic World - Katoomba. Would recommend.

Cottage in beautiful surroundings
The place was modern and comfortable but could have some improvements. Water for shower was just warm, not hot, and shower floor flooded even with our very quick showers. Coffee machine only made cold coffees but we were able to then microwave them. First place I’ve stayed in that has not provided long life milk, and no convenience shops nearby. Towels were clean but had stains on them. Loved the spectacular views and visits from the kangaroos.

Great location for a getaway, good views and all the facilities you need. An awesome fireplace to have a drink by in the evening. It’s not our first stay at the house and we love it. The owner is very accomodating and an awesome host.

We loved staying in this beautiful cabin. The view across the valley was spectacular! The home is thoughtfully appointed with modern and comfortable furnishings. All was good thanks but it should be made clear that If you choose to have a bath and fill the tub with hot water your hot water will run out . The booster option should be recommended before doing this to make sure you don’t run out
