Rustic Luxury
We enjoyed our stay very much and wished we had spent more time there. We went biking, swimming, hiking, played golf and relaxed around the fire pit. The house had an incredible rustic feel but with high end amenities that we expect in the Sun Valley area. Everything worked perfectly including every single light bulb which is rare for most rental properties. We liked that the house was just a 2 minute drive to fly fishing on the big wood river and much closer to Silver Creek than houses in Ketchum, Elkhorn or Sun Valley. Our group was very pleased with the beds which were much more comfortable than typical high end SV rental properties even better than those at higher prices. We are looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you for a wonderful rental experience!

Magical family and friends time!
Bear Lodge is awesome! This home and property is perfect for what we wanted; Space and amenities for our 25+ year old generation to hang and have fun and bond, outdoor spaces, as well as away spaces for elders. It has a park-like setting and even though the house has some mountain lodge-like quirky characteristics, it is also fabulously luxurious at the same time. We staged our family and friends wedding there. It is perfect for a small gathering event! The evenings afterwards, my young adult "kids" shot hoops in the barn, soaked in the sauna and hot tub while others sat around the firepit outside and elders read books in the magestic living room. Dream come true!. The last night the "kids" made popcorn and staged a movie night in the basement room. Three days was barely enough time to enjoy everything the space had to offer. Thank you, Brad, for all the communication and for allowing me to come figure things out, scope the grounds, etc in the days leading up to our stay. I was worried that the proximity of the airport was going to be more impactful, but it really wasn't a problem at all. Keep being real and keep the price within reach and keep on sharing the love and magic this place has to offer!

Very nice open airy accommodations.
The kitchen was well stocked, but the pots and pans were severely worn, to the point of not wanting to use them. The kitchen sink would drain very slowly with a constant dripping noise that made everyone check to see if water was running for 30 minutes after the water was turned off.

Better than expected!
What a treat! If you get a chance to stay here - DO IT! The hosts were super helpful and the property was unreal. It was absolutely beautiful and had every amenity you could ask for. 12/10 stay. This is a must!

The perfect property for family wedding weekend.
The property was so unique in every way! We loved the decor and rustic barn style throughout the home. There were many bonuses like the game barn, fire pit and lap pool, all of which we used. We didn't know it at the time of the booking but the wedding site ended up being on the same street. Communications with the owner on inquiries we had throughout the stay came to us in a minute which was unreal. We really hated to leave. Our entire family had a fabulous time! The views, deer that crossed though the property, and general ambiance was so awesome. It is roomy and with the high ceilings like being in a palace. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Sun Valley area. Thank you so much!

Awesome place with great hosts!
We stayed here with a pretty big group, and we had an absolutely incredible time. In particular, both hosts were extremely responsive and super chill. Ken (one of the hosts) went way out of his way to make sure we were properly set up, and he was super helpful during the checkout process as well. Amazing place to stay!

Great Christmas Vacation
Our family of 11 had a fabulous time at this property. It was spacious, very comfortable and had lots of extras. We would definitely consider staying at this property again. Thanks to Brad and his team for making our stay so enjoyable.

Amazing stay!
Wow. We have traveled all over the world and US and have stayed in numerous rental properties. This was by far one of the best we have experienced! I don't usually take the time to write reviews but will make an exception for this one since it was just that good :). The property and house are absolutely beautiful. The owners' decor, style and attention to detail are stunning. They have obviously lovingly renovated the home and left no detail unfinished. The wood beams, chalet decor, comfy beds, furry bedspreads, pillows, etc - it all belongs in a magazine! In addition to the beautiful decor, they have included thoughtful touches like stocking the fridge and pantry with tea, coffee, fresh eggs, pancake mix, etc - everything our traveling family of 6 could have needed to feel right at home. Shampoos, etc, cell charging cords, and perfectly placed reading lights made for an easy and relaxing vacation. We were visiting from Minnesota and it was our first time in Idaho - we will definitely be back! The property is located in a quiet area not far from Hailey. It was easy to get to local hiking trails and a day trip up to amazing Redfish Lake. We were visited daily by numerous deer and elk who entertained our four children as they watched from the picturesque windows while swimming. The sauna was also lovely on the cooler fall evenings. We didn't use the hot tub but the owner was great at communicating when it wasn't heating properly. Any question we had was answered immediately and the owners were very responsive. I could go on and on but will summarize it to say this was a "gem" in the gem state. Thank you to the owners for an amazing stay. My husband and I were celebrating his 50th birthday with our four kids (13, 13, 11 and 9) and it was a vacation to remember.

Amazing property!
Wow! The pictures do not do this property justice. It is beautiful, clean, well stocked and spacious. Very family friendly with lots of amenities. The owner, Brad, is also very helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns that may arise during your visit. Highly recommend this property!
