Grant is amazing! He made sure we had a very special stay. Lovely getting a tour of the place from him upon arrival. The cabin itself is adorable. The view from hot tub is unbeatable. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking your own meals. We look forward to coming back in the future!

We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches—like the charming duck collection and the variety of board games—which added so much character and made our stay extra enjoyable. We loved our stay! Grant was welcoming, helpful, kind and generous throughout our stay. He gave us some great tips on places to check out on the island including walking and hiking trails. The view from the cabin was beautiful and we found being there very relaxing and peaceful. It's also easy access to the ferry.

The view from the deck is unbeatable. The house is well-stocked and communication with Grant was pleasant and efficient. The quietness and slow pace allowed our family to reconnect. We had a great time at the cabin! It is very rustic and cozy and you can tell a lot of love has gone into the place. Not too far from a trailhead, which we really appreciated. Easy access to the ferry. Would reccomend!

Quaint, Rustic, and Relaxing escape

Beautiful views and very relaxing atmosphere in the woods. Loved the enclosed hot tub and the owner had great communication/instructions and gives good advice such as bringing groceries with you as the store on the island is more like a 7/11 than a grocery store. Be sure to check out the beach behind the church, nice long beach front and great for rock hounding.

We needed a mental health getaway and this cabin was the perfect place, it was so comfortable and peaceful. We love sitting by a wood stove fire, and the rocking chairs were perfect. The view was so beautiful, even with the constant rain. The cabin owner was so friendly and showed us around the cabin. Thank you.

Quaint stay with incredible views

The home is largely just as described. It gives the feeling of being in a tree house at tree top height with the sounds of the many birds, a cozy wood stove that is very efficient, and some spectacular views of Baker and the foothills from the deck. Host was responsive.

Perfect weekend get away in nature

The cabin is wonderful - the fireplace is lovely; the bed and bedding are super comfortable; the kitchen has everything you need with a wonderful view; and the enclosed wooden hot tub is truly divine. Grant is a great host. He makes sure everything is clean and meets you at the property to make sure you know where everything is. If you like low key, and rustic and just want to relax in nature I highly recommend this place.

The property was EXACTLY as Grant (the host) described it and Grant was EXACTLY as prior guests described him. He is a kind and generous host, and we loved our stay. The cabin was cozy and when it rained at night, the sounds of the rain hitting the tin roof allowed us to drift into a deep and relaxing sleep.

Soak it up: Cozy island retreat

Our New Year’s stay at this romantic cabin was absolutely perfect! Nestled in the trees with a gorgeous water view, the cabin felt like a nostalgic getaway—like the cozy family cabin or your best friend's retreat in the woods. The wood fire in the potbelly stove kept us warm and added a charming, rustic touch, and the bed was comfortable with flannel sheets and a down comforter.I especially loved soaking in the enclosed wooden hot tub, which felt private and serene, even in the cold. We also ventured to Sunset Beach to walk our dog, Houston, and I found some beautiful shells and even an agate. The island’s peaceful nature and lack of city noise made it easy to relax.Grant, the owner, was phenomenal—he went above and beyond by mailing us clothes we accidentally left behind. This cabin is truly a special place for couples who want to disconnect and enjoy each other’s company in a quiet, natural setting. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend :)
