"We did not actually get to stay at this property, so the five-star rating is not for the property itself, but rather, the ownership... A couple days before our reservation, the owner called very apologetic, informing us that there was a sewer backup and that we wouldn't be able to stay there. But he had a friend who owned a similar size house 5 minutes away, who would be able to put us up for the night, no change in rates or anything. "My husband, dog, and I loved it here. It’s so cute and decorated very well. The cottage is very well put together and clean. We love that! It’s always nice to envision yourself actually living where you are temporarily staying and my husband and I would actually buy this property and live here if we could. The hot tub was such a nice ending to our day. The coffee that was provided was a perfect treat to our mornings. We can’t wait to stay here again. Thanks Tim and Cindy!"

"We came to the area to see my Dad and all stayed in this great house. The layout is ideal for any size get together. Great kitchen and dining area - had everything we needed. Great layout for relaxing and watching TV too. Lots and lots of towels and places to hang them, spacious bathrooms. A bit cold for us to enjoy this time of year - but the deck and fire pit are awesome. My teens and 2 dogs enjoyed seeing the cows and goats. A really special property - we will return!"

"I had the most amazing stay. The cabin is so lovely. Everything is so beautiful. There are so many wonderful touches. The bed is the most comfortable and I had the best nights sleep. "This was a beautiful Christmas vacation. The property was serene. Beautifully maintained and impeccable. We were greeted with an amazing freshly cleaned smell as soon as we walked in. Very spacious! The kitchen is well stocked with all the supplies you need to prepare and serve meals. The owners even took care to ensure multiple Christmas trees were up for us. The bird feeders were kept full our entire stay even though it was December. My family was in love. Can’t wait to go back!!!"

There were some holes in walls that looked as if they were caused by doorknobs, but other than that it was perfect for a quick trip.
