Must note the side yard with fire pit is near a country high way and train tracks. Expect the noise that goes with those things. Otherwise, definitely recommend. Host was super responsive. "

"A no frills lake house experience. We enjoyed most of our trip at the beach and surrounding attractions. There were beach items available for use which was helpful. This is a quiet area (except the house next door was under construction with workers daily during our time). Nevertheless we enjoyed our time."

"This was a 4 day getaway to relax. While there is no water view from the property, a short walk and some steps led us to the perfect semiprivate beach. There were umbrellas, chairs and 2 kayaks available to use. Despite it being mid September, the water was swimmable and the temps were high 80s. "The location of the property was close enough to all the things to do in the area and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. My friend and I appreciated the communication with the owner and the ease of check-in and check-out. There is an apple tree in the front yard so we had to make sure to not bother the bees feasting on fallen apples. Otherwise, a pleasant stay!"

"We loved being able to walk to the beach! We ate at Cubbies in town and went to the beach and pier in St. Joseph too. We ate at a cute pizza place close to the beach that looked like an old train station. There was a cafe nearby with great coffee and desert too! Really enjoyed our trip. "

"We rented this property for the weekend to have a little getaway for our family. There was only seven of us so it was perfect our sister mostly uses of wheelchair so it a pleasant surprise when we seen the wheelchair ramp going up to the back deck we all enjoyed ourselves and made some great memories with her. Everyone on and around the lake was friendly. We love the little beach area attached to the property and the fire pit it just has a really nice cabin feel, even though it’s a house....
