"Wheeling Feeling was a great house for a big group. It had a lot of sleeping areas and lots of fun things to do. It was well equipped with everything we needed and everything was labeled to make it easy to find. We were there for a wedding and didn't have much time to enjoy the amenities of the house or the location, but both are perfect. We would definitely stay here again if we get back to explore Oglebay and the surrounding area. "

"My husband and I were looking for a weekend getaway…hiking and biking. This place was cozy, clean and the deck out back overlooking the Ohio River was very relaxing…although the evenings got chilly. Centrally located for all we wanted to do. Highly recommend staying here and also recommend the Belmont Brewerks for drinks and dinner. "

"Such a peaceful home, beautifully appointed with perfect little touches throughout. Front door framed by beautiful lead crystal windows leads to roomy front porch for morning coffee, cuddling on the swing seat with a good book, comfortable chairs for gathering. We watched the full moon come over the hill glittering on the Ohio River both from the porch and a bench at the edge of the river bank. "This cosy apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and the bathroom was spanking new. Host Joanna was very gracious. She put out a magazine article on the Meadowcroft Rock Shelter because she knew we were interested in it. It was fun to find school buses converted to ice cream trucks in the driveway and ice cream sandwiches as welcome gifts in the freezer. Another unique feature was the chicken run outside the door (the chicken never made noise.)...
