"Cosy little cottage with on street parking a 200metres from village centre with 4 pubs, local shop and amazing ice cream parlour. Great to be able to walk from the property into the hills or catch a bus outside the door to explore the area."

"This cottage is in a great location for exploring north wales. Straight out of door into forestry walks. Well equipped kitchen. Overall rating lowered due to a couple of negatives. Was promised an initial set of wood/kindling on arrival but this was not provided nor were dishwasher tablets. The bedrooms are small but fine for a weekend. "This cottage is amazing. Set on the banks of the river in the beautiful village of Beddgelert, this is a great place to stay for an adventure in the Snowdonia National Park. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The living room is relaxing and the kitchen has everything you need. You’re walking distance to pubs, restaurants and coffee shops as well as several hiking trails. "The property was perfect for our needs including location as the purpose of our stay was to visit ZipWorld to celebrate a 70th birthday. The property had everything we needed for all the generations. The games room was well used. It was good that pets were welcome too. We felt very at home and beautifully clean. Comes highly recommended. Thank you."

"We had a wonderful stay in Rhyd Ddu - the cottage was lovely and the location was perfect for walking. Our dog absolutely loved the garden! I was a bit concerned about the on road parking but it was absolutely fine. The tea room opposite is closed for 2024 and also up for sale (July 2024) which was a bit of a shame but the pub down the road was really nice."

"Where to start. The only positive comment is that the holiday park that the property is situated is lovely, with good facilities. If I was the owner of the park, I wouldn't allow this cottage to be associated with it. Now for the negatives. 1. Firstly the picture shown on the website is nothing like the property looks like and should be removed. Its an old terraced cottage. That needs a lot of TLC to the front and rear of the property. 2. "Just back from a 3 night stay. We had a fantastic time. The cottage was perfect. Spotlessly clean and in a really good location. Plenty of pubs to choose from in Dolgellau and in a good spot for day trips to Barmouth and Bala. Communication with Finest Retreats was spot on from start to finish."
