Charming Cabin in great location!
We came to Big Bear to restore after having to put one of our dogs down. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and allowed pets, which was essential because we brought our girl doggie. It was well-appointed and had everything you would need in the kitchen to enjoy your stay. Having the app for communication and texts was super helpful and easy. However, the directions to where the lock box was proved to be incredibly frustrating and confusing, as it took us 30 minutes to figure out how to get into the house after a 3-hour drive. The beds were super comfy with great bedding which allowed for a great nights rest. The Hot tub was the only thing that did not seem very up-to-date or clean. Many of the jets did not work correctly, and it felt slimy when you got in. The kitchen had an ant problem, and we learned quickly that everything had to be stored in the fridge. It was manageable but a little frustrating. All in all, this was a great cabin and allowed us to have a wonderful, relaxing getaway. We would rent it again, but we hope that the ant problem and jacuzzi are fixed.

Just as described!
We made last minute plans to make a trip to the mountains, booked this location only a couple days prior to arrival and were very pleased to find this cabin to be all that and then some! Highly recommend and plan to return again soon!

The home was well-maintained and quaint. My son loved it. It had a good combination of rustic charm while being more up-to-date than other properties we've stayed at in the area. Only one negative - the heating is sourced from one indoor 'stove' set at the back of the downstairs dining room area. The back downstairs bedroom was cold. To heat it up the heating needed to be turned up and the bedroom door left open. It wouldn't be a problem, but in doing so, the other bedroom which is in the loft area gets really hot. So it was tough to find a comfortable balance for sleeping.

Somewhat unhappy
The cabin did not have air conditioning and it was too hot for summer months. No dishwasher so the cleanliness of the dishes used you could either trust the last person or do all the dishes yourself. The jacuzzi looked nice, but they had it at 80 degrees so the hours it would take to heat it up made it less than easy to use, plus they had sign that you cannot use the jacuzzi after 9pm, but the paperwork I signed on-line said 10pm. Washing machine has big sign not to use unless a small load will cause flooding and you will be responsible for the damage plus no laundry detergent.

Good value
Nice peaceful neighborhood! The kitchen was nice, the yard was great. Rest of the house was as expected. A little ways away from the main part of town, both good and bad thing. Also the pots and pans could use replacing. Overall enjoyed my time in the cabin

Nice little cabin.. perfect weekend for four friends and our little fur baby since backyard fenced in. Only complaint was online said we could use hot tub till 10.. quietly but at house posted that you could only use till 9. Very clean and nice big kitchen!… Quiet retreat

Hot tub was not working.
We rented this property exclusively for the access to the hot tub. We got a text an hour out (if our 6 hour drive) that the hot tub was not working. Ugh! Other than that, loved the property and loved that we could take our sweet dog with us. Thank you for being dog friendly!

Fenced backyard, great for children and dogs
The check-in process, though quick, is super inconvenient. Most cabins we have rented send you straight to the cabin itself, but we had to go to the company office first and then to the cabin. Thankfully, we didn’t have to do this for checkout. The cabin is nice and as advertised. Good sized kitchen and table. It’s nice to have two bathrooms as well. Dogs and kids played in the snow in the fenced backyard which is the best feature of the house complete with a jacuzzi. We were disappointed when we only found four towels. We booked the property as a family of five so even if we didn’t go into the jacuzzi, which we did, we didn’t have enough towels for each person to even shower. My husband had to head to the store to buy some beach towels while the kids and I were in the jacuzzi. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay though I do think we would pick a different location next time as our kids get bigger. Perfect for a family with two kids.

Loved it!
Place was really nice and clean! Close to everything... loved the backyard/jacuzzi and of course the grill! Kitchen had everything you need the rooms were kind of small but we’re fine for me

Overall good experience
Family had a great time. Kids loved the jacuzzi. Only issues were we had zero heat the first night and next morning.. management did come out and get the heaters working the next day, however they emitted such strong fumes that they were making us all nauseous and we opted to be cold vs be sick.. also, none of the electrical outlets are grounded, so if you are planning on charging your tesla during your stay like we were, you may want to look elsewhere.
