This property is NOT managed by a human and it has zero personal touch. It is managed by Vacasa, which requires calling a 1-800 number and waiting on hold for hours. Literally, I tried calling, texting, and emailing. I wasted hours on this company.
I called to see if an earlier check-in was available. The 1-800 number person has no idea, was unable to give an answer, and told me that I’d receive an automated text on check-in day to tell me when I could check-in. So, you can’t plan. I received this text 20 minutes before the 4pm check-in.
Inaccurate listing: there is no fire pit, but it lists one (this shady company probably already changed that). There is no “partial AC”… it only has ceiling fans.
There was no ladder installed in the dock. It was taken apart up the (very steep and rocky) hill to the house. So you really can’t use the dock without it.
Zero personal touch and very dated and blah decor. It is lacking many things and it was dirty.
- oven handle gets really hot because it’s a cheap mini stove. My niece burnt her hand trying to get the pizza out.
- Minimal and dirty dishes
- 4 towels for four people at a lake house
- Deck was filthy with ants crawling all over
- picknic table was sticky and dirty
- no kitchen rags or dish scrubber only a nasty sponge
- Not enough extra blankets and they had hair on them
Unless this is your ONLY option; I’d stay away from this property. It’s only redeeming quality is the lake.
