"After booking l found alot of negative reviews, happily it wasn't too bad. the island accommodation all seems to be in need of some TLC. I chooser this place as it had water views in case the weather wasn't good while we were there and we;d have something to look at. "This property has great character. Victoria has a very creative and inspired touch in decorating and detailing the renovation of the property. It’s quirky, fun and extremely comfortable and well appointed! The bed is superior in comfort. Kylie Koala is right above the cabin comfortably perched in the gum tree outside. The property is well positioned and very peaceful. Victoria is a marvelous welcoming host. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay 🌟🌟🌟"

"We loved staying at this property - so close to everything - and comfortable. A real home away from home. The only thing I would recommend is to provide extra towels. There were only one set for the week for us. I know we could have washed them - but we were on holiday! Who wants to do laundry?! Other than that, loved it!!"

"We visited from the US as a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters. We loved the remoteness of the property and seeing the kangaroo & echidna right out the window. If you’re a bird watcher, there is plenty to see! Accommodations were top notch. Excellent quality linens and really comfortable beds. We would stay again if visiting KI in the future. We brought all our groceries from Adelaide which worked out really well. Such a nice welcome tray of local from Yael, the host & we had to go...

"Property was in a great location. Island beach is so beautiful. Very well equipped and the slow cooker was a bonus. Overall nice and clean, although there were empty bottles and cans all over the fish cleaning sink which we couldnt use. This was cleaned up however at the end of our trip. Beds were a bit firm for my liking but clean and warm. Had some visits by local kangaroos, wallabies and the beautiful birds on KI and also some local chooks! A bit of a hick up when we arrived to locked doors...

"Beautiful area. Great view of bay. Most staff outstanding. Only exception - male staff person at desk Friday evening was checking us out early as we were leaving before desk opened Sat AM. Tour leader for large group arrived, and rather than finish checking us out, he had the nerve to ask us to come back later after he finished with group. Fortunately, the visiting tour guide had some manners and sensibility and told him to finish with us first."
