Quiet and Close to Nature
We stayed in late October over Halloween and the conditions were perfect for this time of year! We didn’t get out on the water but we did enjoy the sound of wind in the trees and we saw a few deer including some baby deer eating wild berries right in the back yard so that was awesome. The cabin was very cozy and kept us warm even when the temperature took a dive overnight. Definitely would recommend it if you are looking for a quiet place to get away from the Trick or Treaters 😂

The Perfect Cabin in the Woods
We drove from Wisconsin with our dog to stay for 3 nights for my husband’s birthday and it was like we were in a dream! The most basic but well equipped cabin! The absolute deal breaker of the property is the trail that leads to the channel where you have access to kayaks and can go out on the surrounding lakes. Core memories were made! They have a fire pit, 2 bikes, outdoor swings and a small slide, corn hole and board games. The beds were extremely comfortable and the cabin was clean. The communication from the host was by far the best and we have stayed at a handful of VRBO rentals. Check in was extremely easy. The cabin is definitely off back roads but in the most peaceful area. It does have well water so we had no problem getting water from the store for our stay. Kitchen was well equipped and there is also a dog water and food bowl as well as some balls for the pups to play with. We are already planning on bringing our friends back to experience this slice of heaven!!!

Great cabin in the woods with 2 lakes!
Perfect get away for the family and our dog. Enjoyed the large backyard and host provided plenty of supplies for activities on the yard.

Nice peaceful cottage in the woods.
Nice cottage in the woods. We didn’t venture to the water, however we enjoyed the peaceful backyard and the fire pit in the evening. We were able to walk outdoors with our two Maltese male dogs, 13 and 12 years old and just enjoy the outdoors. It was a good experience and peaceful there. Thank you to the host!

Perfect Little Getaway
This little cabin was a perfect little getaway! Cute cabin, nice backyard play space for kiddos and just a brief jaunt to the channel to kayak to the lake. Overall, a fun outing.

Peaceful and Relaxing Stay in With a Beautiful View of Nature
My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was such a peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful home in the woods. The fact that there was a walk-in shower and no stairs to get into the home was extra perfect for us. This was a quiet place to enjoy the sounds of nature in the mornings and evenings. The home was reassuringly close to other families in the neighborhood while still offering privacy. My husband appreciated the WiFi, I appreciated the electric fireplace, and we both appreciated that the homeowner is very nice, accessible, and helpful. I forgot that there would be a washer and dryer! I will remember to use that next time. This is a great place to stay.

Over all it was a great stay
When we first arrived we immediately went to explore. We booked this place thinking it was right by water. It is, but it’s down a long trail. (Be carful if you have problems with poison sumac, it’s all over the side of the trail and by boats, we were able to avoid it thankfully.) The cabin itself is cozy and kitchen is good. I would bring your own water for coffee machine, drinking and cooking. The water from kitchen sink was brown even after running for a while. The bathroom shower was fine though and worked great. The tv worked awesome and we watched shows, the fire pit was awesome for s’mores. It was a pleasant surprise that there was AC even though it wasn’t listed. Also the couch has a pull out part to make it bigger and that was a nice surprise. It was a nice getaway from kids and having some quiet.

Good weekend, annoying check in
The house was nice and cozy and we enjoyed our stay very much but the cleaning crew showed up the same time as us at the check in time so we had to wait for them to finish which was kind of annoying but i dont know how we would have got into the house otherwise, couldn't find clear instructions on how to get inside. After all of that it was a beautiful weekend that i would recommend to others

Cozy Cabin
We had a great time at this cabin on the channel. The kids enjoyed kayaking the channel and exploring the connecting lakes. The neighbors were friendly and very helpful with local directions. The channel is a little walk from the cabin but this was actually perfect as we didn’t have to worry about young kids accidentally wandering into the water. The swings and slide were a huge hit too. We enjoyed the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. Overall very peaceful even for a Fourth of July weekend. There were some fireworks but not in excess or late into the night.

Little piece of heaven
Awesome little cabin that got us all the seclusion we wanted. Would definitely recommend if that's what your looking for. Property manager was awesome and quick to reply and extended our check out. Will be back again.

Winter weekend getaway
Our family of 5 came up for the weekend and loved our stay at the cabin. It was completely stocked with everything we needed! The living room was a perfect cozy spot to watch movies by the fireplace at night. We can't wait to come back in the summer and do alittle more exploring around the property.

The cottage was exactly as pictured. We enjoyed our evening watching dvds and sitting around a fire.
We were so happy to find an affordable nice place to stay for a few days of hunting. We would do it again.
