Good spot for weekend get away
The house was great. The open kitchen/dining/ family room was set up well for a weekend get away with family/friends. Only complaints… 1) there’s a great hot tub, but no extra towels for use at the hot tub, and 2) weeds (even poison oak) very overgrown around hot tub and fire pit.

Beautiful home with spectacular views. Unwelcoming notes throughout the house made it hard to relax. Second bedroom is actually a worn out futon. Needs upgraded. Well equipped kitchen.

Remote mountain retreat
The property was as advertised. It had beautiful Mountain Views! That’s why this property was special! It is remote and a little hard to get to but that was part of the charm. The Wi-Fi worked well, there were spices for anyone to use which was nice since we cooked a lot! The hot tub at night in the winter under the stars is why we chose this home and it didn’t disappoint. Just a disclaimer that the insurance policy you have to take out on top of the $100 dollar deposit seems like a lot but I guess perhaps some people abuse others’ homes.

This place was great. The views and the hot tub were amazing each night. We’re back in Kansas and it’s 97 degrees so we’re sorely missing it already. We’ll definitely be back.

Amazing secluded mountain getaway
My partner and our two close friends had a wonderful stay! The views of the mountains were spectacular and an easy loop walking around the neighborhood provided continuoue stellar views. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace, the board games, and cooking meals together. The cabin was perfect for hunkering down in during the snowstorm that weekend. Thankfully we folled the instructions from the owner of the property indicating 4WD is necessary- especially after a foot of snow. We will absolutely be back!

We stayed here while snowboarding at Loveland pass perfect place to come back after a day of adventure and chill especially with the hot tub. And the view was amazing. Thanks for opening up your home

Excellent location with nice mountains views
Take winter warnings seriously; a rental car with all-season tires adds unnecessary adrenaline on steep snow covered back roads. Winter mountains at sunrise out of living room windows look amazing. A hot tub surrounded by spruce in a snowfall was priceless. A well equipped kitchen, the only thing we missed was a coffee grinder. Wine glasses are under the dinner table, took us a day to find them. Many stern notes posted throughout the house, not unreasonable, but setting a bit of unwelcome tone for the stay.

Wonderful property, great vacation
We had a wonderful time in the mountains of Colorado. The views were amazing. The peace and quiet were even more amazing. The great thing was our dog was able to join us. We were very far from home but the property had everything we needed. It was very comfortable for all of us.

Gorgeous house, stunning views
This house is beautiful, the views are spectacular, and it's equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay. I'm really looking forward to coming back; my husband and I had booked it for a week but we had to leave a couple of days early due to a family emergency. (Thankfully we managed to take advantage of the hot tub before we left!) My only caveats are that the drive up that hill is a bit dicey if you're not accustomed to mountain driving (we live in Minneapolis -- no switchbacks like that on our roads, lol!). So we tried to make sure we were back by dark each night. Also there are quite a lot of rules; I gather that there are several neighbors who are easily annoyed. So it's important to read through the policies in the binder that the owners put together. And speaking of the owners: they are kind, helpful and communicative. I needed to reach them a couple of times during our stay, and they were quick to respond. I hope to return -- I'm enchanted with the Nederland area, and this was a great home base from which to explore it!

Beautiful property
We came for a Buffs football game. So basically just used the cabin for sleeping. Was fun to stay out of the city and get up into the mountains. We enjoyed the hot tub, and cabin was very comfortable. Side note - you will have no internet while in the mountains, so be sure to have all check in instructions ready before you get to the cabin. Don’t count on being able to pull them up and look once you get there.

Easily one of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed at! Incredible views and cozy home!
The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great trip. The views from the house/hot tub were breathtaking! We had a great time watching movies and relaxing when we were at the house. Definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to park in the driveway. Can’t wait to come back!!!

This place was perfect for family time. The openness meant we could talk while cooking, and everyone had a cozy corner around the fireplace. They had the best games of any place we have ever stayed (Dude!). And the view from the hot tub was sublime. Can’t wait to book another stay!

RENTER BEWARE
This rental has a gorgeous view of the mountains but the real entertainment starts when you get home and are accused of breaking things that were broke before you arrived. The cleaning is subpar and there is no 24-hour break between guests per COVID guidelines as advertised on their VRBO website. The rental requires you to purchase Damage and Liability Insurance with your reservation. I was accused of damaging a plastic blind without even asking me what happened. On our arrival, I opened the blinds the proper way, as described on notes left all over the house, and one of the panels fell off and was taped from the previous renter or housekeeper. I told the owner of the above and she immediately said, “no worries you have damage and liability insurance and I will bill it.” I told her that would be fraudulent as that is not what happened and I did not break the blind tab. The next day her husband, who is an attorney, emailed me that he was keeping my security deposit and billing me for plastic blinds that a "dog chewed up" and for and an ash bucket that was missing. I never brought a dog on vacation and that was the first I had heard of an ash bucket missing. That would be the last thing that I could fit in my suitcase. I contacted VRBO and the Insurance company who both stated the owner was not able to keep my security deposit and they would have to file a claim for the blind through the insurance company. As of this comment, written three weeks later, I am still waiting to get my security deposit back from the owner and VRBO “filed a claim.” I never broke any blind and this home needs work and this appears to be the owner’s way of fixing things up or pocketing the money for fraudulent claims. I have rented numerous places on VRBO and never dealt with an owner like this. Bottom line is trusting the negative reviews, only communicate with owners through VRBO website to have documentation trail and video tape prior to unpacking suitcase and prior to locking the door when you leave.
