The ramp to the front porch was very handy and worked out great with him. The cottage was very clean and very nicely furnished. Very quiet community. "From a family trip to an all guys trip this place is exceptional. Clean, neat, tidy. Fully equipped kitchen. Handy boat access. Had a 21’ ranger and 17.5’ tracker docked at dock with no issues. We will be staying here again in the future. "

"Manatee Cove is an outstanding place, so peaceful and serene! We had everything we could've possibly needed and more for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed fishing off the docks on the property and at the marina close-by. The beach was quiet and relaxing, then we would enjoy roasting marshmallows in the fire pit out back. Many of our meals were prepared in the well-stocked, large kitchen. And the best part...the beds were so comfy! I can't say enough positive things about this home and host!...

"We loved our stay. No time to fish but thoroughly enjoyed the captivating view of the lake through the 3 sliding glass doors out to the deck. We met in Donalsonville to take in a football game in Tallahassee. Avoided the crowds & high prices of staying close in. The home was perfectly stocked with everything we needed, ie Hilton could not have done it better. We will plan a fishing guide with a pontoon boat when we can come back for a longer stay. Thanks for your hospitality!"

The only thing I didn’t care for was the detached basement. I must’ve missed that it had its own entrance in the listing, as my children had planned to sleep in the bunk beds downstairs. "The house was really nice and cozy. The door was a bit of a pain but nothing to make me take away any stars. The neighborhood is so quiet and I loved sitting at the picnic table listening to the boats. We couldn't figure out how to get the satellite TV to work but that is alright we enioyed having family time. Will stay again."

"We had to evacuate Clearwater for Hurricane Milton. Somehow this wonderful gem fell into our hands. We were having a hard time finding a pet friendly place to evacuate with our golden retriever. The house was amazing. The view on the river is what we needed to keep our anxiety down worrying about our home. The house had everything we needed. Dawn answered all my 20 plus emails immediately and was so kind. Thank you for providing the peace of mind we needed while we evacuated from the hurricane....

"Wonderful host, you couldn’t ask for anything more! We could have hung out and chilled with her and her husband. Very clean and comfortable stay on the lake, we were working, but it sure made life great! Everything you would need, if it’s not there they will go out of there way to get. Go for the weekend, the week or as long as you care to, don’t pass this one up, it’s a place you will visit as much as possible I promise you!!"
