Beautiful mountain chalet

Felt like home. This had everything we needed and then some. Great front porch swing! The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. If we come out this way in the future, we would book here again

Graduation celebration

The property and location was great for us. Melissa is easy to communicate with and check in super easy. I gave a 3 for listing details. The house is on a single lane gravel road only one way in and out. It was maintained but no room for error and it gets super dark at night. No street lights. I think it's a detail worth mentioning. On the flip side no "white" lights so sleeping was great! I would definitely recommend staying if you were going to ski at Appalachian Ski Resort. It's super quiet and peaceful.

APP State Open House Visit

Our family of 4 and two small pups enjoyed our stay! The drive was easy getting to in the dark. The house is prefect and very well organized with labels everywhere for example on the light switches. The fenced in back yard is prefect for the pups to play. We LOVED that there was no carpet! We will be back for sure!!!!!

Peaceful Getaway

Our family needed a quick getaway after an eventful last 8 months and this was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location, layout of the house, pet friendly fenced in yard, proximity to restaurants and entertainment, and how equipped the house was. Check-in and check-out were easy. Melissa was very kind and helpful. We will most definitely be adding this to our list of "re-visits". Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your home!

We had a really nice time. The house is clean, decorated nicely, well stocked and close to town. There is a small fenced in area for dogs. The beds are comfy. We especially loved the fire place. Thank you !

A great spot in between Boone & Blowing Rock.

It's a great location and looks to be very dog friendly. Only 15 min to downtown Boone & 15 Min to Blowing Rock. We didn't bring the dogs this time but will definitely keep it in mind the next time visiting the area. If you find my toothbrush let me know. I think I left it.

Cozy cabin

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin in Blowing Rock. The cabin was spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. It had all the necessities we needed for a relaxing vacation, from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy bedding and plenty of extra amenities. The location was perfect for enjoying the surroundings, and the peaceful atmosphere made it even better. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-stocked cabin getaway!

This cabin was perfect for our family of four. We were up for a few days for a campus tour of ASU. The cabin was super close to Boone, and literally walkable to Appalachian ski mountain. The cabin was super clean, cozy, and spacious. Everything we needed, was nice and warm on super cold nights, and had a beautiful view out of every window. Book this cabin, you want regret it!

Quick Ski Trip

The description of the property was spot on. Cute, quaint, close to Appalachian Mountain Ski Hill, and close to Blowing Rock and Boone. The neighborhood was quiet and we had the perfect stay. Great value as well.

I can’t say enough about our stay!!! The house was extremely clean and has a lot of space! Extremely close to the slopes which was a huge plus for us! Owners are easy to get a hold of and are very kind. The worst thing about our stay is that we had to leave. We will definitely be back!

Awesome location and place to stay

This house was such a great experience. All the reviews are accurate. Melissa was responsive and so easy to work with. This house is located walking distance to App Mountain (my 13&18 yr olds walked with their boards and boots). And easy to access boone and blowing rock. It does suggest 4wd for the winter and I would highly recommend this during the cold weather. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Out host was kind and very quick to respond. The cabin had everything we needed including a grill in the back deck! You will enjoy the cozy den with a warm fireplace and comfy blankets to snuggle up in. The children enjoyed the double bunkbeds and the king beds were very comfortable as well. Additionally, the location is off the road and up the mountain (so there's a nice view) but minutes away from area attractions . We really enjoyed out weekend stay and highly recommend it.

Awesome Christmas vacation

My family and I stayed at this cabin for our destination Christmas. When we arrived, we immediately noticed how well kept and clean the property was. I feel like the home is bigger in person than the photos lead on. The host was responsive and friendly. The ski resort was just down the street and so were other attractions. I highly recommend staying here.
