Three bedrooms Family house in Blue Bay
Beautiful group of four identical houses made of stone and solid concrete, with modern comfort, pool and garden. The latter are smaller than they look on the website pictures though. Location is somehow noisy from 8 am to 11 pm due to the nearby Intl airport runway. We experienced the visit of a mouse every evening around 9pm from underneath the main door. Not a big deal but surprising! Pool and garden are cleaned during the stay and Venitah took very good care of us and of the place maintenance. Blue bay is a good location, but accessing the beaches “Pointe d’Esny side” is difficult : only two public paths between the coastal road and the beach due to private properties all along the road, sea side. Nearby, “blue bamboo” restaurant is welcoming. On “Preskil”, scuba diving and speed sail schools and tasty restaurants. Visit “Ile aux Aigrettes” and “Ile Deux cocos”. Must see : Mahebourg market on Monday morning. We like Pointe d’Esny - blue bay side because of the wid that cools down the temperature, compared to the west coast. Rental car is mandatory on Mauritius. Our third stay/ worth it, genuine Mauritians are lovely people.
