I'm a self proclaimed "cabin snob" and pride myself in booking fabulous cabins for 4 adults, twice a year.
This was the CLEANEST cabin we've ever stayed in. I did not have to bust out my Clorox wipes or the broom, when we first got there. This was a first for me.
This was the most WELL STOCKED cabin we've ever stayed in. Usually there is 1/2 of a roll of paper towels and 1 roll of TP for each bathroom. NOT HERE!! They provide more than enough of each. There are shampoo and conditioner dispensers in each shower. The pantry has spices, the freezer had coffee. There was a wide variety of games and even some Tide Pods if you need. The list of "little extras" this cabin provided is endless.
The property grounds were AMAZING!! You hear nothing but birds and crickets. We saw a deer, 2 armadillos and pretty sure a bear came for burgers. We did not SEE it, but we heard it come up the mountain and to the side of the deck. It froze when it heard us.
The driveway IS tricky but manageable. You're going up a mountain...its to be expected.
Highly recommend visiting Helen and Dahlonega, GA. during your stay.
The biggest "con" is that there is NOTHING nearby. Not even a gas station. Its about 20 minutes each way to the store (if GPS is good to you). Just make sure you have all that you need upon arrival and get there BEFORE dark!! Make a list of things you need so that when you do venture out, you can stop at the store without making an extra trip.
Enjoy your stay!
