Great place and excellent location
We enjoyed our 2nd stay at this rustic little cabin. It was very cold while we were there but the place was nice and cozy and warm. Good communication with Brock. We will be back.

Perfect and cozy cabin!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin! It was decorated for Christmas and was so cute! It was very comfortable, and the fire pit and hut tub were great. Communication was awesome and we had no issues with anything. We actually got engaged here, so we will definitely be back!

Perfect Weekend Gateway!
This cabin is everything in the pictures and more! Very clean, comfortable, and stocked with what you need. The hot tub was clean and is a great addition to the cabin. You also can't beat the location. Its private enough with a short 5-minute ride to downtown Blue Ridge. We came and went from downtown to the cabin multiple times/day. We would love to book this cabin again in the future!

Good and bad
The cabin in itself is absolutely beautiful and very clean. The directions were clear. They have a sign that definitely helps to find the cabin. They have satellite service that kept going out. On a clear day. The remote did not work half the time unless you were standing right at the t.v. I am going through menopause; they had the temp set at 67 and you could not adjust. When I expressed this to the owner, he said he was worried things would freeze in 80-degree weather but in the description, it talked about keeping the light bill down. The fire pit had wet ashes so could not get a fire going. There were no indicators where the trail to the creek was. The description spoke of being private, the cabin was nowhere near private. The t.v. was smarter than me with no instructions. I tried to log into my Netflix and you-tube account but had other people's account and would ask me for their log-in info. Should be wiped out after every visit. I waited to give this review so I could share these concerns with the owner/manager. His response was defensive and telling me no other guest have had some of my concerns. Does that mean mine were not real or valid? Reading other survey's, he was defensive with them as well. I expressed some of the concerns during my visit, he responded the night before I left. I didn't share everything. I came there to reset. Not to have a debate over what's going on. I said I would stay there again but after the owner's response, I will not.

Perfect for a small group
I liked that it had no stairs to enter. It was also in a good community but with plenty of yard space . The living area was cozy, the bedrooms and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and everything worked as it should. It was also 3 miles from all conveniences. It was perfect for our stay.

Tv reception was not good at all .. streaming service in and out… Couldn’t find anyway to connect to the dish network.. Was only one mirror in the house.. need another in bed room for the lady’s.. Grill is about burnt out .. only get up to about 300 degrees..

Great Option for a Getaway in Blue Ridge
Our family greatly enjoyed our time in Blue Ridge. This cabin is clean, modern and has everything you need. We loved the hot tub and firepit in the evenings. Enough space for the kids to play games in the yard. Great proximity to Blue Ridge downtown, the lake, rivers and hiking. We would return.

Great experience!
The place, inside and out, was beautiful. Very clean, even the hot tub (we have had a few bad experiences with hot tubs) we enjoyed a fire outside each night as the night were cool. We had a spa day at serenity in the Mountains that was great and close by! We will return!

Great Get-away
My husband and I booked this cute little cabin for a 2 night getaway with our dog. The owners were very responsive and the place was very clean. Great property. Hot tub was clean, plenty of towels and basic things we needed for the duration of our stay. Perfect size for the 3 of us. Very quiet and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we ever find ourselves in need of another get away we will absolutely be looking at the Fox Den!

Hard to beat!
This rental is going to be hard to beat, from its cleanliness, to the location - everything about this place was perfect. This was my first time booking through VRBO and the host made everything so easy! The check in/out process was simple thanks to an electronic coded door and clear directions. The cabin itself was in impeccable condition. I am so grateful to have found this place, the location was central to everything I was in shock how close everything was while still feeling tucked away in the mountains. This trip was centered around taking my dog on awesome new adventures and we got exactly that, I hope to be back soon!

Nice Modern Clean Cabin, Not nice placement.
Clean and modern cabin. Great communication from host. No issues on that side. I was disappointed, though, as the same driveway leads to the next-door neighbor, which is a construction business. It was open the whole time and there were trucks entering and leaving. They were diesel trucks so they were very loud. Across the street the neighbor was running a forklift For six hours during the day up and down the road in front and it was super loud. The hot tub was just refilled right before we got there so we could not use it for eight hours because it was ice cold. I understand you have to clean it but dumping it each time a guest Stays is not necessary. You cannot get the chemicals, balanced out when you do that. After using it for two days, the chemicals were so off that it stunk by the last morning so we could not use it the morning of departure. Trash was full in bins outside on arrival and the 2 propane cans out were both empty so we called owner and he got all that rectified. The cabin itself was beautiful and very well taken care of, but the location of it is not private at all. I would not recommend or come back due to the placement of the cabin. Thanks

Cozy cabin
We spent a relaxing evening at the Fox Den. It’s the last night of our trip in blue Ridge and we relaxed in the hot tub while we washed our clothes. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. I highly recommend the Fox Den!
