"This is our second time at this property. It’s about 20 minutes from Whitetail Resort. It was a great place to wind down after a day of skiing. Spacious and comfortable. Because of heavy snowfall in the afternoon, there was about 4 inches or more of snow in the driveway and my car got stuck. I went up the wrong driveway, but in any case both driveways were snow covered and impassible unless you had chains. Even with four-wheel-drive our wheels were spinning. "Charming cabin for a winter stay--but I bet it would be great in warm weather too when you can play in the creek! Lots of space to spread out. Our 11 year old was charmed to stay in a "real log cabin" and it was also his first experience with old fashioned radiators! Got pizza at Clementina's just a few minutes away & enjoyed it."

"My family and I stayed here to celebrate Christmas away from home. The cabin is beautiful and slept 6 people comfortably. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies. It has a great fireplace and porch. It’s also conveniently located to Ski Liberty and the Appalachian trail. We had a great stay!"

"The Culp House did not disappoint. We all felt very much at home and cozy. Clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed off season so it was too cold to sit outside, but great outdoor space for warmer months. Five minute walk to town square with restaurants and shops. If you plan to cook be prepared to bring some basics like spices, plastic wrap, etc. We highly recommend staying here. "
