"Been here now for 6 years over Christmas and new year. We love the peace and quiet and access to lovely walks with the dog. The house is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all and is equipped with everything you need. Although remote, Ellon is only 10 mins drive and Aberdeen just 30 mins so perfect if you want to get out. Highly recommended"

"Cottage had everything you may need. Small welcome pack with tea/coffee/sugar/milk and shortbread for your arrival. Off road parking was a bonus. Chip shop within walking distance which was also an ice cream shop, post office and sold some groceries. Wonderful beach within walking distance too."

"We had a fabulous time relaxing at the Drums Beach Beach. It’s bigger than the pictures make it seem and there’s a fabulous view of the ocean past the sand dunes. There are sky lights that open up electronically and allow the fresh ocean air to fill the space. The large exterior doors and windows are of very high quality and the location is extremely private. The showers have fabulous water pressure and the couches are comfortable. Peter and Ruth have thought of it all. 11/10!"

"The waterside is great, it is very dated but the price reflects that. There’s nothing else around this part of Scotland that gives you this level of value for money. I wouldn’t go there expecting the world but it’s clean, has a nice restreraunt, a so with sauna, jacuzzi, pool and steam room and the staff are very attentive. I love the place and will be going back next weekend."

"First time staying at New Inn, even though we have attended many events and meals over 40 years. Not disappointed. Check in fast and friendly. Room, cosy, clean and very comfortable. Staying at Hotel as we were attending an event. Food was excellent, very tasty with large helpings. Staff all very efficient, friendly and helpful. Free parking around the side of Hotel. "
