Wonderful stay
My husband’s large family spent the weekend with us at this home. Our ages ranged from 2-70 and we all were comfortably accommodated. The views are great from nearly every room and there’s tons to do in and out of the house.

Lovely home with a beautiful view.
The bedrooms were all large with comfortable king size beds. The hostess even provided two roll away beds for our teenagers. The air hockey and pool table were particularly appreciated. many matches went on between all the family. The hot tub had a great view of the Milky Way and we searched for falling stars and the comet. Every one had a fun time at this amazing home. ❤️ night time sky clear view of the Milky Way

Great property for a group
We spend a lot of time in bodega bay. This time though it was for my Sons wedding and we had a lot of family join us. Great size house for a large group. Hot tub and games room a big hit. Kitchen and dinning room met our needs. Great rental

Beautiful and spacious. Comfortable and clean. Can't beat the location with a beautiful view of the Bodega Bay coastline. So convenient to access beach, trails, and dining. Great Time in Bodega
We had a wonderful time in Bodega Bay at Jan’s lovely home. There was plenty of room for the family and the views were spectacular. We saw deer roaming around, bunnies hopping around, and even saw a grazing skunk (we didn’t venture too close, haha). Listening to the seals and seagulls was such a treat! Jan was so gracious in letting us have an earlier check-in and a later checkout. It would have been helpful to have a list of necessary items for our visit, such as extra paper towels, ground coffee for the Mr. Coffee machine (filters provided), laundry detergent (we were not able to locate any), and basic condiments. Previous renters will leave certain things behind but it is not a guarantee. There is a big folder of the rules and regulations to follow as well as helpful information on nearby sightseeing, restaurants, etc. The big book also includes many do’s and do nots regarding appliances, hot tub, barbecue, thermostats, etc. There are additional costs for too many day visitors, rollaway use, hot tub usage,etc. Upon departure, it is necessary to follow a list of chores regarding putting all clean dishwasher items away, rules on towel, sheets, and garbage. Despite all the rules, we had a great time in this beautiful home. Just be prepared to allow time to read all the information and allow time for departure chores.

Return visit for group of long-term friends
Stayed there in 2017. Group of high school friends, rotate where we go every year. Everyone wanted to return there and didn’t disappoint. Superb location and amenities. Great house for our group to eat, golf, and enjoy our 24th year of getting together!

Fabulous Stay!
This home is really a gem. The views of the ocean and Chef Kitchen were exactly as described-Amazing. The rooms are spacious and the game room fit all 9 of us comfortably. We absolutely loved our stay and Jan was always fast to reply with my questions.

Impressive location and great property for large groups
We were a group of 12 (six couples). My wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary. It was a great location very close to the beach, and a well designed home that allowed for gathering in groups while still having privacy for each couple. Jan was a good host, offering a lot of information in advance. There are a lot of instructions for everything, including specific and detailed check-out instructions. I think the other reviewers are correct in saying that the instructions help keep the place in good shape, but that some of them are very excessive. One needs to budget more time for check in and check out than one normally would. We spent about 90 minutes preparing for check out and that didn’t include dishwasher time that needed to be finished and emptied before leaving. That said, Jan was able to provide an early check in and check out. She was very clear on all rules and requirements, and we had no issues with any of the amenities. We would consider visiting again given how many boxes the property checked for us.

Nice home but very noisy, the house could hear every person walking. We felt one towel per person for four day stay was not enough. One roll of paper towels was a little short. No salt and pepper. All that is fine if you know ahead of time so you can plan to bring extra items. Located in a beautiful area with a amazing view.

We rented this beautiful house near the ocean for a 60th bday year celebration with 8 long-time friends. It is exactly as described in the listing, and communications were easy. The decor is wonderful, beds were comfy, and the space was really clean!

Fantastic vacation
The home is beautiful, very comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished. Kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms were excellent. We didn't use either the BBQ grill or the master bedroom hot tub, but we enjoyed the hot tub outside. For other outdoor activity we went to nearby Doran Beach for sand castle building, and we hiked twice down to the closer beach for tide pool observing. And of course a couple of runs to Spud Point Crab Company. There were many instructions regarding the house, but for the most part they were helpful. The only negative about our stay was that we arrived and found the housecleaners at work and telling us they would be done at 6:00 (not the checkin time of 4:00). This was not Jan's fault, but seemingly a problem with the cleaning company. (The cleaners actually showed up at 10:00 on the day BEFORE our departure!!) It was disappointing to have to give up 2 hours of our time at this delightful abode.

Family fun time
The house is beautiful and the kitchen is well-equipped with various cooking utensils and cookware! We were a family of 10 adults and 2 kids and we found the the house to be spacious-we really enjoyed the jacuzzi! Doran Beach is so close we went 2xs. -the 2nd time we parked near the golf course and took a 10 min walk down to the beach. We definitely will be back!

Ocean view home that accommodated twelve of us easily.
It was everything we had hoped for. Easily accommodated 12 of us, each bedroom separate from the others. The media room demands a movie night on the giant screen. And the game room made sure everyone got in on the fun. One of our favorite trips!

Best Birthday EVER
Booked this house for a surprise birthday for my husband. 6 couples in house - all with private bedrooms and 4 with private bathrooms, so easy and plenty of room for 2 couples to share the 5th bathroom. The house is as good if not better than what the pictures show. We had everything we needed and plenty of room. We cooked together, had a private chef one night and spent every evening on the patio playing cornhole or in the game room playing pool, fuseball, air hockey and used the table for poker and cards. Loved the huge dining room table - all coud sit together. Hosts were so easy to deal with. I read some comments about there being a lot of rules and instructions - we had no problems with any of it and found the rules and detailed instructions simply made for an easy stay. 5 stars and highly recommend this house - our friends and family are already planning their next stay here.

Best Birthday Celebration Ever
We booked this property to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. The home and location were amazing. Jan was a wonderful host and great at responding to our questions. The home was clean, the kitchen was awesome, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the play room in the basement was fabulous. The view of the bay was beyond words and we enjoyed the sunsets with local wine in hand. My wife was so happy to have a place where our closest friends could come together and celebrate. Jan's home was perfect.

Fabulous Family Beach Escape
We went as a family of 13. Ages ranged from 1-67. The house was perfect for us. We sat together at the big table for every meal, played games from the cupboard, enjoyed the game room with something for everyone. Great place to stay and feel the house is spread out enough for a large group.

Picture Perfect
Fabulous accommodations for our group of 12. The bedrooms provide privacy and comfort for each couple and the gathering spots provided ample space for everyone. Despite the rainy weather we still took advantage of hiking and visiting local areas. Since the house is so large we stayed inside quite a bit and played games while we cooked and enjoyed each others company. Wonderful home and very accommodating host!!!
