The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and shops, which made exploring Bologna very convenient. The sheets were clean and the property seems to have undergone some updates, which initially gave a good impression.
However, the comfort of the room really fell short. The air conditioning was practically useless and did not cool the room, making it very uncomfortable, especially on warmer days. The mattress was also quite poorāthin and not supportive at all, which made it hard to get a good nightās sleep.
The bathroom was a big disappointment. The shower was not clean and had an unpleasant feel to it. There was no proper ventilationāeither the extractor fan didnāt work or was insufficientāso the bathroom stayed hot, humid, and had a lingering bad smell.
Overall, this hotel has potential with its location and some modern touches, but they seriously need to invest in guest comfort and proper maintenance. I would not stay here again unless improvements are made.
