"Fantastic property. 16 of us for a family birthday. Lots of different spaces so we werent on top of each other all the time. The teens really enjoyed the games room. It was also great having all of us round the huge dining table. Location is ideal so we walked in to Galashiels and also in to tweedbank , no need to get in the car. "

"La maison est très grande,bien organisée.Chacun avait son propre domaine.Les chambres sont agréables.Le matelas au salon est cependant bien mou.Le barbecue a servi dans le joli patio.On est à 10mn à pied du centre de Kelso,jolie petie ville aux très nombreux commerces accueillants,bien située dans les Borders et entourée d'abbayes superbes ,surtout celle de Dreyburg ,et de beaux paysages.On envisage déjà de revenir.Merci Nikky."

"Great central location from which to explore the Borders region from Bamburgh to Melrose ; from the Alnwick Gardens to Edinburgh. After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . "We found the home to be a very nice size with ample room for us. The recent upgrades and renovations were very well done. We did have a bit of difficulty navigating the one way streets for the parking situation. Parking lot across the street was close and free during our stay which was very good. Parking nearly by on the street would have been a challenge. The property was in an area urban renewal. Was well within an easy walk to the High Street. "

"Our stay was in stunning setting. Recommend getting there before dark as it is set back but then you are sitting in a postcard. We had a delicious lemon loaf and well equipped kitchen and home over the holidays. Thank you Hilary!"

"Beautiful part of Scotland the caravan site However was a little on the shabby side, some of the caravans were in really bad condition which made the site look worse than what it was, the inside of our caravan was not very clean and the fixtures had seen better days."

"Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. "Beautiful roomy property with lovely large kitchen with additional living room. Enclosed garden was great! Location was very good, and was handy for many towns and tourist spots. Only issue was that a few of the beds sagged in the middle but there were others to choose from cause some of our party couldn’t make it. "
