"Everything lined up with the listing: great view, beautiful home, fun game room. Got surprised (coming from a city) at how dark the night sky was. Really enjoyed the stars. The Gorge is a beautiful place. Whether you are visting for the first time or are practically a local, this house is close to everything you will want to do. Have rented places along both the WA and OR sides of the river in the past, and this is my new favorite property."

"This home is nestled into a beautiful wooded area along the Washsougal River. It was so peaceful and relaxing that we could have stayed another week or two. The log cabin is spacious and quaint. It provided everything we needed from a stocked kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of towels and chairs for hanging riverside. I enjoyed running along the winding roads that provided gorgeous views. We would love to come back and stay here again. We didn't want to leave!"

"12 family members stayed here for a wedding near Hood River. Plenty of beds & bathrooms to accommodate our group. House s a little outdated, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the ping pong & pool table in the garage. Didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub or the beautiful back yard, which would make for an incredible game of Bocce. View is absolutely stunning!"

"This property was not only ideally located for visiting the Gorge, it was immaculate and extremely well stocked. It seemed as if the owners tried to supply everything their guests might need. We especially appreciated all the labels on the cabinets - both for finding things and for putting them back - and all the provided plug-ins for electronics. And the view was lovely. "Stunning home! Minor hiccup: we were greeted with a living mouse in the front room and multiple dead wasps on the floor of the living room. Maintenance man came almost immediately with traps and the mouse was eliminated by the next morning. Living wasps were not evident in the house at all, however very busy bee activity under the deck with bees/wasps flying through the decking continuously.
