"My Sons and I had a wonderful stay at “The Big Rock” property. We woke up to deer eating the crab apples every morning. The large rock is a perfect place to just sit and enjoy the pond and scenery. We caught plenty of bluegill and a few small bass in the pond. There was also a little pontoon and kayak the kids had a blast using. We will hopefully be returning soon. Lance was by far the best Host I have ever encountered. Anything we needed or any question were answered right away.."

"We had a great stay at this cozy cabin! Everything was well-maintained, and the surroundings were beautiful. However, future visitors should be aware that snow can make it challenging to drive up the hill. It’s essential to have a car equipped for snowy conditions. If you’re renting a car, we highly recommend choosing a Subaru or another all-wheel-drive vehicle to ensure a smooth experience. Overall, it was a wonderful getaway, and we’d definitely come back! "

"My husband and i were looking for a place to get away from everything and just rest and do nothing. The cabin was the perfect spot. We had an issue with the upstairs heat when we first got there, but the owners took care of that. They were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed and knew where everything was. We didn't go anywhere, just stayed there and got the rest we needed. Great place to get away from it all. Hope to go back again sometime. "

"My husband and I were looking for a place to bunker in for a few days. This cabin was adorable, clean, and they really thought of everything. The host was very kind and quick to reply. "The location is perfect between Boone and Blowing Rock about 15 min from each. It was a nice super clean studio loft perfect for a couple. Tv, coffee/tea, fire pit outside on the deck couldn’t get any better. Communication from the owners was great and welcoming. The property is like a mother in-law suite to their house.
