Beautiful Views and Poor Housekeeping
The views are stunning and the amount of rooms and bathrooms is fabulous. Unfortunately the kitchen was VERY dirty, with dried on food all over the handles of the fridge, grease spatter all over the front of the microwave, leftover grounds in the coffee maker, the Keurig hadn’t been wiped down in months and the floors had clumps of dried on chocolate (that thankfully I was able to clean up before my dogs licked up too much). Finally, we were told that the hot tub had been serviced prior to our arrival, however, it smelled badly, foamed up and had scum on the side. The lack of cleanliness was very disappointing and we would not rent from here again.for that reason.

Wonderful Place
The house was very nice, and very conveniently located to the ski slopes. We enjoyed having so much space for our family and the hot tub was nice. But best of all was the beautiful views in the morning. Definitely recommend!!

The house was very comfortable and beautiful view. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cookware. The only problem was the steps from the door to the main level. These were not referenced in the write up and very unexpected. Other than that it was a beautiful property

A Breathtaking View
We were here for our daughter’s wedding and this house was perfect. It was spacious, decorated well and allowed a chance for our group to spread out while also having the chance to gather together for meals. The deck was our favorite place to be because of the view and weather. They had a bunch of chair and table options which was great. Even the kitchen had everything we needed. We did have an issue with the air conditioning upstairs but they were helpful and handled it quickly. Also, just know since this place allows dogs there is residual dog hair in areas and the kitchen table has a stickiness on it so we only used the bar and dining table to eat at. Other than that we had a fantastic time and would definitely go back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great cabin so close to Beech Mnt. Resort
This house was a great place for our group. We have four adults and 6 kids all piled in an had plenty of room. It was also SO close to Beech mountain ski resort… made it so easy to pop right over to ski/snowboard. The house is super well organized and supplied and the beds were actually so comfortable. My only complaint (which really can be helped) is that you hear every footstep and sound travels well in the cabin because it is almost exclusively made of wood. Just make sure you bring a nice sound machine 😉. Otherwise no complaints!! Oh, and the view truly is absolutely amazing!!

Perfect Mountain Retreat
Great location with an amazing view. The property was very comfortable and close to Beech Mountain Ski Resort. All daily kitchen essentials were provided. Living room furniture could use an update its a little worn. It would have been nice if firewood was supplied.. to drive all that way looking forward to a fire and cant.. We would book again...

Even more beautiful in person!
Gloria Hill had amenities for all ages a great accommodations. It is spacious but cozy at the same time. The beds are super comfortable, the shower in the master bathroom was amazing, the view was spectacular, and the kitchen very well stocked. The host was super helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back! We had 3 young couples with a baby and two toddlers, as well as my husband and I - we are 60.

Lots of space and a beautiful view!
This is a beautiful place to stay, we had plenty of room and really enjoyed playing pool and games in game room. The kitchen had everything you needed for a large party. The view was just breathtaking, especially when the sun wise rising! It was so close to the ski resort and the town of BEECH MOUNTAIN. We would definitely stay here again!

Great view, bad experience.
The view is the best part of this property. The lack of customer service from the owner is definitely the worst aspect of this rental. The thermostat was locked so we couldn’t change the temperature. We have a family member that needs a slightly cooler temperature for medical reasons. We explained this to property management. They told the owner and asked if he could unlock the thermostat. He said absolutely not. When you spend an exorbitant amount of money to stay three nights you expect the owner to show the most basic courtesies at the very least. That just did not happen here. We’re not children. We should be able to change the temperature if needed. Not allowing that is a slap in the face. In addition to that - every necessary item stocked in the house was only stocked at the absolute minimum. Every single bathroom ran out of toilet paper (note: we did not have a full house of people). We ran out of paper towels. We weren’t given enough trash bags, etc. Again, when you pay this much, you expect that at least the basic necessities will be covered. They weren’t. We are constantly booking VRBOs all over the country and have rarely (if ever) seen this lack of courtesy. We were constantly running to the store to buy things that should’ve been stocked. This level of stinginess by the owner really made the trip much less enjoyable. Every single adult in the house might’ve come back again on their own if it weren’t for this display of cheapness, but because of what they saw, no one will be returning.

Excellent rental
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this Beech Mountain property. The room layout was excellent with plenty of space for our large family group. The pool table and hot tub were big hits. The house was easy to get to. The mountain view from the den and deck is awesome. The house was very clean and everything was in good shape and functional.

This house was perfect for our family with grown children and their spouse/significant other. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the cooking utensils you could imagine. Great location to the ski slopes and town necessities.
