"As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. "

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. Loved how we could easily walk to Boothbay. Access to the kayaks was a huge plus too. If there was one bit of advice I could offer, it would be to reduce the amount of furniture in the cabin. I believe there were 15 chairs within."

Just a heads up for those wanting to explore boothbay harbor, parking can be challenging to find so I would recommend if you own E-bikes bringing them for easier transportation around the area. "

"Nice house in a great location. It was wonderful to have a first floor bed and bath since we were traveling with my elderly parents. The location made it easy to walk or drive to Boothbay Harbor. The only minor issues we found were spotty wi-fi and the latch on the front screen door did not work properly. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This home is situated on a quiet street, but within a half-mile walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and puffin cruise piers. The house is comfortable and well-equipped, with several nice extras. The house was very clean when we arrived. The location is perfect, and we enjoyed sitting outside by the cove."

"What a wonderful home. The host greeted us, showed us around & left us a homemade blueberry cake & bottle of wine. Communication with her was very easy.
