"The apartment we stayed in was perfect for our stay as a basis to explore Gloucester and the northern Cotswolds. The docks with a choice of restaurants is in walking distance, parking for the car at the back with easy access. Beds were super comfy. Everything was clean. Perfect. We will be back! "

"We stayed in Apt 1 on ground floor which was great. Very roomy & had everything we needed. It was handy being able to prepare breakfast & dinner if needed. Washing machine was a bonus & came in handy after travelling for a bit so was able to wash our clothes. Lidl supermarket less than 10 min easy walk. Would highly recommend. "

"A couple of nights away with the girls. The apartment was overall good. I should have checked when booking but there is no parking. The area Redlands is nice. The outside of the apartment needs tidying up. The beds and bedding were comfortable but when we went to make one of the beds into double (was a zip lock) the sheeting was filthy with bloody stains. The cleaner did come the next day to change the bedding but was a bit grim. The shower facilities weren’t great as the flow was very weak....

"Two single beds a bit creaky, not enough toilet roll 1for four nights. Parking spot very tight and not marked very clearly (someone took our parking spot when we returned late one night, hard to find another spot. Overall very happy with our stay"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Old Fleece. The Studio apartment was lovely, spacious and had everything you could need for a few days away. A fantastic small kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave and induction hob. The staff were wonderful, happy to help in any way. We will definitely visit again."

"Wonderful 3 night’s stay. Accommodation appeared as much bigger than expected. Had everything we needed. Such a peaceful location. Just the sounds of owls at night and woodpeckers during the day! We really enjoyed sitting in the garden. We used the opportunity of having a good weather to do a bbq on one evening. Arthur and Mimi were so accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble! "Lovely functioning mildly old school cabin in the middle of the country side. Very comfortable bed. We found everything we needed. Our dogs were content. Very quiet. "Beautiful cottage in a very scenic peaceful town. The property has all the amenities to keep you comfortable during your stay. We loved the town of Painswick. It’s very friendly and scenic here. They have a tesco close by to cover your grocery needs. Sean was very generous in stocking up the fridge with breakfast items and pastries! We would love to revisit this property and town again "

"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"Perfect little bolt hole with lovely countryside views. Ideally posiitoned for walks in the forest (5 minute walk from the door to the forest) and down to Symmonds Yat. Paul was a great host, very friendly and accommodating. Everything was super clean in the 'pigsty'. Definitely a funky place to stay. Would definitely go again!"
