The apartment is well laid out with everything you need. It’s a renovated basement with a private entrance but they did a great job of making it not feel like a basement, with bright yellow walls and lots of windows to let in light. living room was comfy with the softest area rug I’ve ever felt, plenty of cushy throws, a nice coffee table. The dining table was very small, bigger would be nice. The kitchen was perfect and we found lovely treats of coffee, water and chocolate chip cookies-much appreciated. We didn’t cook meals, but it was set up nicely for coffee, snacks, happy hour. two coffee cups and two regular glasses, could use a few more. The bathroom was decorated attractively, the shower was great, good water pressure and they provided shampoo/conditioner/soap.
The master bedroom was large, good walk-in closet and comfy bed. the backyard was a welcome spot to sit and relax. The only drawback was the thermostat is controlled by the owners, Darine did a nice job of keeping it comfortable for us in addition she was very attentive in making sure we were doing fine, even texting me there was an umbrella in the closet as rain was predicted.
This was our first stay in longmont and the location was perfect. We walked one block to main street took a left and headed down to the “old main street” with the great shops and restaurants. The roost, sugarbeets and lucilles all great restaurants. mcintosh lake is wonderful with stunning mountain views. We would stay here again.
