"Bear Cottage is our Happy Place. From the rustic cottage, to the beautiful lake, the animals, fowl, reptiles to the everything nature it is perfect on all levels. A it if futhings to do in the area including hiking, swimming at other lakes ( we do lake chasing), waterfall casing ( so any to see), horseback riding at theGrassyCreek ranch, farmers markets, flea markets……. Hosts are amazing!"

"Overall impressions in these categories: House: Beautiful. Big enough for our group of 13, kids and adults. Kitchen is more than great. Screened porch is better than good. Dining area large enough we could all eat in the same area. Rec room including table tennis was used a lot.Water: Fishing was slow but that's no one's fault. Kayaks were used a lot everyday. There was plenty of space to spread out, the beds, bathrooms and kitchen areas were all very clean and appreciated. "We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Our family spent a lot of time down on the dock fishing and spending time on our paddleboat. The kids loved the choices of places to sleep. They had everything we could possibly want. So convenient and it was beautiful inside. The only con was that the upstairs was warm, even with the air on. We will definitely stay there again."
