Gorgeous location, great hosts

I'll start with cons as there truly arent many- Lots of large cutlery but only 1 teaspoon, otherwise fully equipped kitchen, lots of crockery more of a minor inconvenience than anything. - No full length mirrors and very few other mirrors (one small handheld, one in bathroom and one in a bedroom). It was a little hard amongst so many girls (8) who are used to having more mirrors- One bathroom but we knew this when we booked- Lots of cobwebs in corners- Upstairs shared bedroom area had blinds to keep it dark on that side but the other side with the games area had a huge window that had no blinds so light came in around 5.30am through there. I think if there was a blind there it would make a huge difference.Pros:- Amazing space, can fit a lot of people. Great beds, good dining and kitchen area and WONDERFUL shower (everyone commented on this!). - Lovely host, really easy to get in touch with and can knock on door if anything is needed. No signal when you arrive but strong WiFi which helps!- Walking trail behind barn where you can see lots of greenery and animals. - Enough parking for everyone- Fully functional and useful fire place- Manual to assist with everything - Speakers, games, TV and books all included- Lovely outside area,- Very friendly doggy next door who may visit outside area and is very sweet- Amazing pool facility, good depth/temperature and pool towels provided- Most importantly, felt SAFE and WELCOMED the whole stay

Excellent 4 night break with family

We used all the facilities, tennis courts, lawn, pool and snooker table. For 6 adults and 1 toddler there was ample space. The pans, plates etc was plentiful everything you would need. For 6 adults the 1 toilet was a bit challenging at times! Lovely place and area to visit.

We had such a great time. The house was lovely, beds super comfortable and scenery of the house were amazing. Could do with a couple of extra mirrors or at least one in the main bedroom but all in all the house was fab. Would definitely stay again

Amazing house in a fantastic location!

We had such an amazing time. Gorgeous barn with so much to do. Fantastic walks on the doorstep and lots to do nearby. The kids had a great time in the pool and playing tennis. Our dog didn’t want to leave! I would highly recommend this property.

Great stay near Henley

Had an excellent time at the barn, which was v well kitted out and perfectly positioned to explore Henley, Marlow and Oxford. Highly recommend (pool is an added bonus), thanks for letting us stay, Sarah, and for the helpful comms, making the stay hassle free!

Stunning Converted Barn - Gorgeous for Family Events

We celebrated our sons christening in the barn. The location could not be more perfect and the pictures turned out beyond anything we could have imagined. The pictures here do not give it the justice it deserves. Superb stay.

Time to unwind

loved it - watch out for the beams though. Had a great time in the swimming pool, playing tennis & then playing on the pool table in the evening. Plenty of open space for exercising outside in the fresh air. Not far from Henley for a walk along the river & playing crazy golf.

Great location and lovely house

The house sits in a lovely village with lots of walks to do. The children loved the swimming pool and tennis courts which they used lots throughout the week. A great family house where you can spend quality time together. Will definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at the property. The communication from property owner was great, very friendly and very informative. Couldn’t have asked for more. Would love to return at some point. The pool was a highlight for the children as was the owners dog! Beautiful grounds to go with an incredible property. Great venue for a get together.

We had the most amazing weekend at the Barn. The property is just stunning, the grounds are beautiful and the hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Our party has come away from the weekend with a smile on our faces and that was largely down to the beauty of the house we spent tne weekend in! Would not hesitate to go back!

3 Nights in the Country!

We had such a lovely time at the barn - cozy yet plenty of space for 6 of us + one dog. A spacious, efficient kitchen for communal cooking and a great lounge area - plus excellent walks to the local pubs. We loved it!

Brilliant Weekend

The Property was great for a family weekend. The Barn was beautiful and was as the description and pictures and was very well equipped. We made full use of the grounds and the swimming pool, thoroughly recommended

Lovely Barn conversion

Hosts were very friendly. We went as a family with 6 adults 1 child aged 4, 2 babies and 2 dogs. The games room was fun for all with a full size snooker table, dart board and lots of toys/books for the children. Swimming pool a good size and warm. Kitchen well stocked. Only a 10 minute drive to Henley. Would definitely recommend stating here.

Amazing stay

Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Sarah had everything we needed to cook with and use throughout our stay. Everyone had a great time and did not want to leave. We enjoyed the pool, tennis court and snooker table. At times it was slightly tricky with 1 toilet for 8 people however it did not spoil our stay and we will defiantly be back! Thank you for a great well needed weekend away!

Beautiful open plan accommodation in an idealic setting

The age ranges all loved the property and the facilities that it had to offer. I bought my dog who had the freedom and security to mooch around the large garden area without us having to worry about him getting out. The younger of the crowd enjoyed the swimming facilities and open plan aspect. This should be considered when choosing for a large family as age ranges meant being open plan wasn't ideal for settling a toddler down but otherwise a perfect place for a girlie weekend.
