A Perfect Stay!
This house had everything we needed for a few old friends and their families to get together for a wonderful weekend in the country. The house was spotless, roomy, and provided great breakfasts, and the outdoor areas were huge and perfect for kids games.

Great Group Stay
We loved our stay at Sherwood Park, the house was perfectly set up for our group and everyone agreed we'd happily return for another stay in the near future. The property is true to the online images and description and is in a handy location to explore the surrounding areas with ease. The fire kept us all warm and the beds were super comfy.

Spacious family home with lifestyle options
Great accommodation and garden surrounds. Requires some TLC to enhance for contemporary guests. Considering rates for home, disappointing to cover furniture /tables with cheap plastic and carpet square over main carpeted living room. This implies lack of trust in guests. No basic bread or cheese boards, very few modern utensils for food presentation in-house, very basic at best. Few matching plates or crockery. Magazines from 2001-2011 on tables. If trying to offer modern ambience then audit/ updates of amenities required. Garaging and front entrance door all locked which if hot or inclement weather is not user friendly. In particular if an emergency, no front door access could be problematic. Overall large comfortable floor plan with good bedrooms and bathrooms for large family or friends.

Family Xmas in July for older siblings
We loved the property, well maintained and spacious. Garden beautiful, can imagine how wonderful it would look if it hadn't been raining so much. Lots of places to sit in groups inside and outside. Could do with an extra shower, with 8 adults and 2 showers lots of queueing. We were surprised by the cleaning fee which is hidden in house rules, no mention was made of it when we booked. We would stay again as the location and presentation make it a great property. Love a fireplace and plenty of wood was provided.

A welcoming and warm place to stay
We arrived to find the fire alight and warming the house nicely on a cold July day. It is quite large and the eleven of us (eight adults and three children) fitted in quite nicely. The kitchen is well equipped. The yard outside looked inviting, but it was too wet for us to take advantage. All in all, a great place for a family stay.

Bowral Retreat
We booked Sherwood Park for our Book Club retreat. It was wonderful. We walked in to the fire burning and a cake with a bundle of supplies to enjoy. It was a sprawling home with plenty of room to spread out. Could have done with another shower. It was older style but everything was spotless. The area was quiet and we enjoyed walking round the neighbourhood. A lovely place to unwind.

Beautiful country home
I can highly recommend a stay at Sherwood Park. The house has plenty of space for a large group stay and is surrounded by beautiful gardens in a quiet street that is a short (7mins) drive to Bowral town centre.

Comfortable house for a large group
I rented this house for 11 members of my family arriving for my son’s wedding and it was comfortable for everyone. The house is surrounded by a beautiful and well-maintained garden. It created a wonderful background to family photos. We did not have time to use two additional internal living areas but the main room was big enough for our group. The linen and towels were white and crispy. Plenty of toilet paper for our 4 nights stay. No access to garages but plenty of car park spaces outside. No Wi-Fi, but for our busy wedding weekend it was not essential. My family was happy.
