"This cabin was very nice, the location was great, and we loved and utilized the woodburning fireplace while temps were cold. It was secluded and a nice little getaway but still close to home for our kids."

"This apt was perfectly located for dealing with family in both Rapides and Cabrini hospital. The property is super cute, recently redone by the looks of it. Well equipped and stocked, comfortable and conveniently located. Owners were easy to get ahold of. Shower has crazy good water pressure. Only downside was the only bathroom is on second floor, and there isn’t really a sofa/living room. But not at all a dealbreaker and for the price and area, can’t beat it ! Would stay again."

"This location was great and everything we needed for a long term stay. Alexandria doesn't have many options but this one we felt safe and comfortable. The host provided great communication upon check-in and we only reached out to extend our stay a few times and they were very accommodating to the changes. Stayed from June to end of August. "I specifically ask if I could go fishing. Was told 3 times yes. Got there and you couldn’t for the water grass and weeds. The boat house was being renovated, so they offered to put me in Yhe Pelican house. It was a tiny home, with a short small loft for a bedroom which had a ladder to access the bed. I couldn’t climb the ladder. I tried to rest on the futon. It was to hard. No Tv, games, not even a radio, no cell service. The place was clean as was the land scape. They refunded my cost. "This unit was perfect for my stay in Alexandria. I was visiting my Dad in the hospital nearby and this unit had everything I needed. It rained while I was there and that made this unit a bright spot to land each day. The washer/dryer were perfect for the small loads I needed during my stay. "Overall the property we stayed at was 5 star for the price point per night, kitchen is not equipped to cook, dishes are minimal and the kitchen was “used”.
