"This property is spacious, quiet and clean. It is nestled within trees. So well hidden, we had a small issue maneuvering to the home. The host was super responsive. There are at least 2 firepits and setting that provided opportunities to sit out in the morning or evening, drinking coffee and reminiscing. There is a suite on the first floor along with several living spaces. There is a modern organized laundry area. A surround sound system that provided music inside and outside. A bathroom in the...

"Breathtaking and charming are two words that come to mind. As you drive up to the property emerges a gorgeous farmhouse and it instantly transforms you into a state of vacation and relaxation with the pond, ducks, geese, and other wildlife. Ample room to move about on the property and to stay inside. The host was amazing and extremely accommodated us. Our great dane loved running free on the property and swimming in the pond. Same goes for our boys who enjoyed fishing, swimming, and hanging out...

"We have vacationed in Lake Gaston for 5 years. We absolutely love this area and the beautiful lake. However, this was our first year at ‘Floating and Boatin’, and it beyond surpassed our expectations. The home is so beautiful. The views of the lake make mornings on the porch heavenly, and the dock with its many toys impressed all of us from age 4 to age 76! I could go on forever…By far one of my favorite stays at Lake Gaston. Thank you Edie and Steve for a wonderful core memory vacation. "

"Spent 4 nights with adult children and 5 grandsons aged 2 and under. Plenty of space for all. Of course had to keep close eye on grandsons when close to water, but great floats, pedal boat, kayaks, canoe. Built a fire most nights. Good time together."
