Great Place
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Del Lago! The views of the lake were absolutely stunning. The property was well-organized, spotless, and everything we needed was provided. The owner was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed over Thanksgiving, and although it was a bit chilly, we still had a great time enjoying the lake, kayaking, and using the paddle board. Highly recommend!

Well maintained property on the lake
House on the lake with an outstanding dock and swimming area in a cove. Not to mention beds for everyone and several places to enjoy whatever you want to do on vacation. Numerous amenities, all of which worked as advertised. The hosts were available to respond to texts when questions came up. Other than food, towels and bed linens, you don’t need to bring anything. (Besides a good attitude). The 16 members of our family ranging in age from 2 to 71 had a great week. We hope to return next year.

We are lake people now!
My family had an amazing vacation at Casa Del Lago! The house and dock were wonderfully equipped and perfect for our group. We especially enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the Great Creek portion of the lake was. Thank you Matt & Carolyn for the thorough instructions, recommendations, and overall fantastic experience!

Perfect place for our family vacation
From the comfort and cleanliness of the house to the the lake and jumping off the boathouse roof, everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed our week. Not to mention the perfect weather without a drop of rain.

Great Place for a lake trip!
We had a fantastic stay at Cada Del Lago! The dock and outside space was perfect for us to pull our jet ski up, dock the boat, and enjoy swimming. The home was clean and had all the needed utensils to grill and cook meals. There were plenty of beds for our group! We did find it slightly inconvenient for the upstairs two kings rooms to not have a joined bathroom but we did travel with infants that napped frequently so it may not be an issue for others. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would recommend it and return in the future!

Annual family lake trip
We had such an amazing time at Casa de Lago making some core memories with family! There was plenty of room for everyone to not feel like we were on top of each other. The dock/boathouse was the hit! Plenty of room and we loved that it’s a deep water dock! The hosts were very responsive with any needs or questions. Thank you so much for opening up your lake home to us!

Fantastic Group Location
We brought a group of teens from our school, and the property and the location were perfect. We had initially planned more day trips, using the house as a launching point. But by the end of the week, most of the teens simply wanted to stay by the house. There were plenty of water activities that kept them active and enjoying themselves. Our hosts were responsive and a joy to work with. The house was immaculate, spacious, and beautiful.

Beautiful home on the lake
Casa del Lago was the perfect home for a family reunion in October. Eleven adults and 3 infants stayed comfortably and thoroughly enjoyed the space and view. There were enough bedrooms for each couple to have their own. The home was super clean and well kept. Our family enjoyed sitting out on deck and taking in the view. We had a warm weekend in October and some of us even took out the kayaks. The open concept was perfect for keeping us all in one room. The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing we would recommend would be to have an extra folding table accesible so that we could seat everyone in the dining room or on the deck since the house can fit up to 20 people. There was ample seating, but we would have loved to have been able to all fit everyone around the same table. Also, we would have liked an option to pay extra for a linen service just so we didn't have to pack towels and sheets since us our cars were all super packed already (all the families were traveling with infants). Matt and Carolyn were super responsive and provided great recommendations. We had a great time at the local winery only 5 minutes away. It was the perfect fall weekend in a beautiful lake house. Thank you Carolyn and Matt for sharing your home with us!

You want to stay here!!
Perfect getaway! Amazing views of the lake, and still had nice privacy too. We had plenty of room for games, movies, the kitchen is just so well organized, and tons of dock and porch space for everyone to spend time together or spread out. Lots of swimming and naps!!! Want to come back in fall to see the colors and use the fireplace! :)

Great family trip
Three generations from 82 - 12 years of age gathered for a week of fun and relaxation. House is nice, lake is amazing. We rented a boat and taught the grandkids how to water ski. The fact that the grandparents could sit on the dock and watch the action was great, we loved that we didn't have to travel far to be in open water. The SUPs and kayaks were used daily, the kitchen was well stocked, the kids watched movies in the theater room every night. Our only complaint was the bathroom situation, we would have loved a 4th bathroom, even a half-bath would have been welcome. But overall we had a great time!!

Family Lake Vacation
We had 20 family members from 1 year old to 60+ stay for a week and it was great. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the dock and water everyday and cooked every meal but one at the house. The owner was very responsive and understanding. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, quiet setting with not a lot of activity in the water which was great for us as we didn’t have to worry while the kids were in the water. We brought some kayaks but also used the kayaks paddle board from the house. The only recommendation I would have is to put hooks on the dock, there is no where to hang your towels. Would defiantly go back!

Family Reunion at the Lake
Our family of fourteen consisted of ages from 9 months to a 17 yr old, parents and grandmother. There was something for everyone at this Lake Gaston rental! The highlight was the sun deck with extra comfortable lounges and chairs & a place to jump off the deck into the refreshing water. The water toys and media room kept everyone happy. Be sure and bring life vests etc for those who cannot swim (4 universal life vests for 90lbs and up are provided by the owner). Beware of midge bites that seemed extra active early evening! You will want to bring all your food items including oil, spices etc. One baby gate was provided but we needed several more for crawling babies. You might also want to bring favorite games, more decks of cards etc. The owner was very responsive to our many questions and requests. Enjoy!

King cabin week 2022
Our whole family parents 3 kids and spouses and eight grandchildren and 1 fiance enjoyed the week there at the cabin. The only drawback was The Limited space for eating for that many, and the space for multiple sets of us to play games, as we are a big game playing family. The house was well stocked with everything as advertised, and we had an enjoyable week. The owners we're great to deal with oh, and very responsive to our needs. We are considering the house again for next year.

Wonderful Family Vacation
My kids LOVED having access to the Kayaks to take out on the lake, and my husband had the best time fishing! The property owners were wonderful and super responsive when needed! I’d love to stay there again for a longer amount of time! ❤️
