After a day of hiking we enjoyed a glass of wine on the upper porch of this cute cottage overlooking the Potomac river. The lane the cottage is on is quiet and peaceful. I would return again!"

"The Spy house was really great. It was so clean, updated and a perfect location. We could easily walk downtown to hiking, shops and restaurants. "Our stay at this vacation home was very enjoyable! The house was clean, well maintained and comfortable. It is located on a nice piece of property with a beautiful view of the Shenandoah River. "This was such a nice place to stay while in Virginia visiting family! The area is full of antiques, wineries, breweries and gorgeous scenery. The cabin itself is on a pretty piece of property with a well-kept large lawn and attached to the main house, though it felt very private and we never heard the occupants. It was very comfortable and clean. Keep in mind most places in the this rural area are on some kind of gravel road. Expect to wash your car:) I will definitely book this one again! "

"This was a great historic house to stay in. All modern conveniences while staying true to the structure and history of the home and area. We enjoyed our days visiting Antietam Battle Field, Sharpsburg, and surrounding towns. Beautiful area with lots to see and very friendly people. It was nice to come back at the end of the day and relax in the house with plenty of room unlike a hotel room. Price was great also. "
