Second time there
My husband and I stayed at this cute little rental last year and loved it so when it was time to book another getaway weekend, we decided to go back. Everything was lovely-only thing I would bring up was that the well water seemed especially smelly this year. I grew up with well water so it usually doesn't bother me but having the water on a while (doing dishes or taking a shower) really put a smell in the air. But we would still go back. Also, batteries were dead in some of the candles, flashlights, etc. I love my lights, especially when I'm in an unfamiliar setting during the night so some extra batteries left there would be ideal. Otherwise, we loved our little getaway and due to the weather being bad (snow in February), we didn't end up venturing out this time and we LOVED the solitude and extra relaxation time. I bet we'll be back next year, too!

Perfect for a weekend getaway
This was a wonderful little cabin to stay in during the winter. The inside was nice and cozy with the little fireplace, and the view outside with all the snow was beautiful. The owners gave clear check-in and check-out information that was easy to follow, and the background information about the cabin was a nice touch. The location is nice, with a lot to do in the surrounding area, even in the winter, with two state parks within 30 minutes of the cabin. The only issues were the sulfur smell of the water and the condition of the surrounding roads however both of these were mentioned in the property information and we appreciate the transparency for both. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would love to return. Thank you for having us!

This cabin was perfect. Was located away from everyone but didn’t have to drive up and sketchy mountain roads, which I was worried about since we visited during Christmas and it was snowing.

Nice property, there is a tricky spiral staircase. Also a strong sulfur smell in the shower when you first run it. Overall it was cozy and great.

A charming and well-equipped cabin on a secluded mountain offered a peaceful and delightful stay!
Here is the translation: "It was a fantastic, charming, and lovely cabin located on top of a mountain in a secluded spot. A delightful stay. We enjoyed the grill, firepit, and also the peace and quiet (no busy roads, truly remote) to completely relax. The cabin is fully equipped with amenities such as a shower, hot water, fiber-optic (!!) internet, and a well-stocked kitchen. Our stay was wonderful as we explored the beautiful surroundings of the Finger Lakes and Upstate NY from here. We did lose power for a short time due to a tropical storm, but the owner quickly helped us get everything back up and running. Very helpful and quick to respond! Warm greetings from Europe, the Netherlands, Hengelo."

Weekend stay in Branchport
Your cabin is very nice, especially the inside. We were surprised to see the unmowed lawn since the inside is impeccable. Another suggestion is to cut the weeds at the back of the building since they are now growing up through the slats of the porch floor and some were taller than the porch rail. Otherwise, beautiful!

This was our first time visiting the Finger Lakes region, and WOW! It was absolutely stunning! We didn’t spend too much time in the cabin, but it was there when we needed to. It had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was perfectly situated for driving to several different destinations.

Perfect Getaway
I don’t know where to start, truly one of the very best we’ve ever stayed, and completely relaxed. The cabin was immaculate!! We enjoyed staying in for a couple days and went out to the wineries, shopped, and ate on Saturday . The book in the cabin was so helpful and full of information that made it so easy to navigate the towns and lakes around. Thank you again for such a lovely and welcoming place. We will definitely be back, your hard work and beautiful story about your sister shows through what you did in memory of her, and it was so much more appreciated with the back story! I’m ready to start my work work relaxed and refreshed!!! Thank you again!!!!

Quiet little cabin
My wife and I had a great time exploring the finger lakes region. Staying in this cabin was a great locatiin to the two of the larger lakes. I wanted to stay away from people and this cabin fit that perfrctly. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at the lakes. Everything was clean and a fully stocked kitchen. Would absolutely recommend this place to stay to anyone wanting peace and quiet. Thank you so much for offering this hidden gem.
