"Check in process was smooth and we were able to arrive a day early which was very convenient. Initially I was concerned after we arrived as the home is directly across from a fire station and the alarm went off which was deafening. Fortunately I only heard it go off twice for the 5 days we were there so it was not an issue. The house was well equipped overall with exception of utensils. There was 1 spoon and maybe 2 or 3 forks. We had to buy utensils for our stay. Not a big deal just annoying....

Located close to where we meet with friends, easy to find and access, and close to convenient parking option. "This huge house fit my family of 6, plus some extended family, 12 in all. The driveway was a bit narrow getting in but we fit 5 cars in the parking area out back. The house is visibly historic, so there were some things that could be updated like the trim and other cosmetic items, but it was fuctional and spacious. There was some food left in the fridge and cabinets that were not properly sealed, so we disposed of them. I was asked to clean the grill after we used it, but it didn't look like it...

"We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Paul's Place ! Tucked away in the woods, so private and beautifully maintained with all the comforts of home. They thought of everthing, it was all there ! So clean, warm and cozy ! We lost count of the wildlife sightings and our blood pressure has never been so low with the serene setting haha Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. We cant wait to go back...thank you so much for a wonderful getaway ! "

"This is a great location for downtown Allentown, you can walk to a lot of places. We felt safe in the neighborhood and had no problems with moving in or out of the house. The rooms are big, so there is plenty of space. It is an older home, so the steps are squeaky and there are other minor old house details. We love older homes and found it charming in many ways. "Everything about the house was as listed and in most cases better. We had a large group of mixed ages and everyone had comfortable spaces and it was easy to entertain in the house. The pool was a bit hit as well as the movie theater! Overall I definitely recommend the house. I took off one star for location simply because there isn't much in the area in terms of things to do outside the house, however as the house is so great you don't really need much else!"
