The surrounding area is a combination of new builds, a trailer park, and abandoned houses falling down and overrun with plants. "We really enjoyed three nights here beach combing, playing cards and storm watching. The sunrise in a clear day over the water was breathtaking. I was impressed by the whole house sound system for enjoying music. We were disappointed in the kitchen as we planned to cook all our meals and nothing is near by.
