Enjoyable stay at Paddock Barn.
Our host Russell was very helpful & easy to approach. The property is in a beautiful village of Astley Abbotts with beautiful views in a quiet location. We will certainly visit this wonderful property again to explore surrounding area which is outstanding.

We had a lovely stay with family over the holidays. The home had everything we needed and the owners were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had before and during our stay. The location is great with the quiet beauty of the countryside but easy access to town and other places we wanted to see (RAF museum, Shrewsbury, Bridgenorth, Long Mynd… just to name a few)! Would highly recommend this lovely property and would stay here again!

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful setting.
Booked 3 nights to celebrate my mums 87th Birthday. The owners had left yummy chocolate cakes and a bottle of fizz for us, such a lovely gesture. The owners have thought of everything to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would definitely book again beautiful barn in an amazing setting.

Just back from a 5 day stay, beautiful quiet rural location but close enough to Bridgnorth for essentials and eating out where there's some great Pubs to choose from. The house and gardens are fantastic, with everything you need for a relaxed comfortable stay.

Lovely location
Paddock Barn is a lovely property, Russ very welcoming. We stayed as a two family group to see the commonwealth games. The house has lots of nice features, head care is needed in the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom, well equipped. A couple of minor issues sorted very promptly & the extra touches lovely and very much appreciated. Thank you

Amazing place to stay
Paddock Barn is a beautiful property. We stayed for our daughter’s wedding and it was the perfect oasis to retreat to after the activity and excitement of our busy and exciting days. The house doesn’t have the feel of a property that’s just been done as a holiday let, it is more like someone’s luxury home and is so well equipped. The extra touches were very much appreciated. Stunning Barn
What a find-Paddock Barn is finished to an incredibly high standard-inside & out-tasteful-modern- warm & cosy-very well equipped-we felt at home as soon as we unpacked-although weather wasn't great we did manage to get out & about-Ironbridge & Bridgnorth so close-it was a treat to return to the barn- thank you so much for fizz-beer-and delicious cake! also the warm welcome when we arrived-would love to return.

Absolutely stunning quality property
Everything about it was wonderful. Quiet countryside location with just a short trip into Bridgenorth. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Quality furnishings throughout and lovely touches like the home made cake. We were there for my son’s wedding and russ kindly dropped us at the venue and kindly provided an emergency needle and thread. Cannot recommend the hosts and the property highly enough. Will definitely be returning

A 5 star property with helpful owners
This property was immaculate and beautifully appointed. Everything we needed was there and the home baked cake bubbles and local beer went down a treat. Russell, the owner, was very helpful supplying local information and allowing us to raid his apple and plum trees. We would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely property in stunning scenery.

Paddock Barn - a little gem
Stunning accommodation, beautifully presented in a peaceful location. The attention to detail makes for a very relaxing holiday. The owners have provided everything you could ever need and more. We had a very warm welcome from host Russ, who had left us a delicious home made plum cake, and then brought over more plums and apples from the garden. There was also a bottle of fizz in the fridge. I cannot rate this property and host highly enough, you will not be disappointed with this place. Fantastic Russ, thank you.

Fantastic Place to Stay
Lovely accommodation and location with views of the countryside. Ideal base for exploring Shropshire and a great place to come back and relax at the end of the day. Russ the owner was very helpful and welcoming and helped to make our stay at Paddock Barn a fabulous experience.

Idyllic retreat. Superb accommodation
Had a fabulous short break with my Mum, the barn is exceptionally well equipped, very homely, and finished to a high standard. The location is perfect for access to all Shropshire has to offer, with some nice local walks on the doorstep. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous place to stay. The barn is fitted out to a very high standard with lots of well thought out touches. Russ was on hand to answer any questions we had regarding walks and local restaurants. He also makes a cracking cake 😋 Paddock Barn was the perfect place to re charge our batteries. Fantastic property, brilliant location.
We have just returned from a 4 night stay, and we didn't want to leave. The property was immaculate, and so well equipped. Location was lovely. Russ was great and very welcoming, he even delivered a lemon cake that was delicious. Thank you! The area had so many places to visit so we hope to return. Even the rain didn't keep us in.

Stunning part of shropshire
For the past 5 weeks we have had the pleasure of staying at paddock barn, a beautiful fully equipped holiday property that has everything you need. Russ and Karen are excellent hosts and ensure you have everything you need for what has been a fantastic stay. The delicious welcome cake baked by Russ, together with a complimentary bottle of fizz and beer started our 5 week break off with what has been a memorable and unforgettable stay. Set in the peaceful countryside of Astley Abbots the barn has an amazing vista across fields and meadows, incredibly peaceful, yet not five minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Bridgenorth which is an amazing place to explore, there are plenty of shops and eateries that are within driving distance. Some great local walks and places to visit and we would very much recommend the following restaurants of the pheasant at Neeton and Woodbridge that sits along the river be Telford. I would highly recommend Paddock Barn and will definitely be back.

Great stay in a lovely cottage.
We loved Paddock Barn from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with a generous welcome pack including a very tasty home made plum cake. Ali popped in to explain a few things and gave us some good recommendations for exploring the local area and restaurant and cafe tips. The cottage was spotless and had everything we could have needed and more. We especially enjoyed the two sitting out areas and took advantage of the fruit trees as instructed by Russell. This was our first visit to Shropshire and would recommend both the area and the accommodation whole heartedly and can see why this is rated as a 5 star property. We have stayed in many properties over the years and this was definitely one of the very best and would love to return.

Luxe vakantiewoning, zeer goede bedden. Ook de ijsblokjesmachine was zeer geliefd. Wat niet erg was, maar wel verwarrend is het feit dat in de advertentie wordt gesproken over een wasmachine en droger, dit laatste is een droogrek.
