"This is an amazing Minnesota find! Our family of six found the cabin on Stone Lake to be the perfect getaway before school starts back up. We spent hours on the lake everyday with the kayaks and paddleboat, fishing for northern pike - yellow gold spinners - and cruising as we watched the loons and bald eagles. "The cabin was nice and we liked that it was next to water. There are just a few things that we weren't impressed with. When we arrived the driveway wasn't plowed and the deck wasn't shoveled. As much as we paid for 2 nights I would think this would be done. Another thing is that the security camera that is outside of the house is setup to where you can see it inside the house.. If you can see the camera the camera can see you. So if you walk out of the bedroom naked, they are going to see you....

"This cabin was a nice cozy cabin with enough sleeping room for the six adults we had plus we had one more bed for a single. It was located where we needed it to go further north or to go into Duluth. It was great. We came back one day and there were just four deer roaming around the property and the other day when I woke up there was one peeking in the window. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend. If I was gonna stay at Christmas, I would bring Christmas decorations....

We were able to gather together for family time and spread out when we wanted to get our homework done (2 college students and a teacher in the group).
