Lovely property and host! Terrible app
Loved our stay at this property. This year was our second here and the host was excellent. Communication was great and the property was clean and comfortable. We had a minor issue with the water settings but it didn't detract from our stay. I do want to mention the changes to the app since last year tho to prevent others being caught out like we were. We have been unexpectedly charged in US$. I had set the app to Australia, so expected the listed prices to be in AUD as they were last year. Raising it with the VRBO support team has been unhelpful.

Maintenance overdue
1. Advertised photos are VERY OLD. 2. Fire pit is a rusted shell. 3. Driveway needs a gurney. When wet caused my 65 year old mother to fall and hurt her wrist. My 70 year father also slipped on the wet moss. 4. Window blinds broken or missing 5. Lounges are very dirty and stained 6. Fans in dining / lounge are filthy with large cob webs in the cathedral ceiling area. 7. yellow beach is now covered in debris 8. Two large bushes in rear garden blocked the view we came for 9. The garage was a disgrace - dryer fluff, rubbish etc, 10. We cleaned the windows so we could see outside 11. Control diverse on water meter which kept turning the water of randomly. 12. Lights at front and side of house did not work. 13. Sink basin vanity upstairs, we had to unblock. 14. Gardens have not been maintained. Weeds now knee height. 15. There where four outdoor camera's monitoring. 16. Dining air-conditioner kept switching itself off 17. Lounge air-conditioner cover was held on with duct tape 18. Tried to use the barbeque but ended up with a fat fire, not cleaned in a long time House not professionally cleaned. Location was good.

The house was roomy well appointed in an excellent location on the water overlooking Stradbroke Island, and the host was very accommodating and helpful. Kayaks were provided and enjoyed by all , we had a great time and would highly recommend this property !

Fantastic short vacation
Great position... kids and adults loved fishing every day. Everything supplied, right down to the bug spray and sun lotion... Andrea had everything covered. Lovely home in a beautiful place. We will ne back again.

Great spot - huge house!
We had a wonderful stay, grandkids, kids and grandparents with two doggos. Our weather was beautiful but even if it had rained there would have been a ton of space for us to spread out..A few things around the house are a bit worn out but there was lots of bedding and everything you need is there. A great spot for a group to hang out and feel super comfortable!

Highly Recommend
Property is in a great location with nice views and conveniently near a boat ramp. Communication with the host was amazing, they answered questions and assisted very promptly. Property is very spacious and was well equipped. Would definitely book again.

Lovely long weekend away

How lovely....
My husband, our dog and i had a glorious 2 weeks. We caught fish and crabs a plenty, enjoyed the lovely breeze and just relaxed. Dinner and trivia at the bowls club was a grand outing. The house is lovely and was clean and had all the bits and pieces required. Our host was easy to contact and accomodating . The view was superb. Thank you!

The property was exactly as described. The host was great to communicate with and very pleasant. The house had everything you needed for a comfortable stay and was big enough for 4 adults. Lovely outlook with the pontoon at the rear of the property. Pity we had a rainy weekend. Would consider returning.

Little piece of paradise
Firstly Andrea was very easy to deal with, she was always helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. The view was absolutely amazing and what an added bonus having your own jetty. The house is beautiful and very spacious with all the amenities you need. 2 days definitely wasn’t long enough, we will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone wanting a nice little getaway.

Andrea was brilliant with her communication. House is beautiful with spectacular views! Simple touches that made you feel at home. We felt super comfortable with our big German shepherd. The host went above and beyond! Will definitely visit again ❤️
